I'm seeing Karin Kanzuki and Andy Bogard.

Some people should know 2 things about her in the first game and the novel side-story of the first game (which it was based on the middle of the ABK's storyline). First, her backstory. She was born in a rural village at Hebei province of China. But unfortunately, she's a Heihaizi (aka Illegitimate Child) who was raised in the family, conceived outside from the One Child Policy, until an Old Farmer (who's the master of Piguaquan) adopts her for 100 yuan, and trains her the art of Piguaquan and she helps him to do the farm work, in order to work out her body, and earns enough money to buy "iron sandbag", filled with iron grains and mung beans to train. Some years after her grandfather tragically passed away, she became orphan, abandoned her birth name, and calls herself "Marilyn Sue" to find jobs in the spring for her survival and likely to find a way to honor her adoptive grandfather's wish, she implies for Mizu-shōbai and it's very profitable. Until one fateful night, where she was Upon being accused of stealing customer's money (presumably falsely) while working. She nearly killed the customer and the hostess. As she was running soaked and wet in the rain to alleyway, one of the members of Black Hand mafia organization found and capture her. However, she was welcomed by her boss, Yin Hu for her killing tactics instead of having of pity her being orphan and who wanted money for her previous job. She's one of top rank assassins and one of candidates of future leaders to lead the organization, along her (former) fellow member, Wei. Second, while she maybe appear to be a backstabber towards her boss to become a leader of the Triad at first slight. But in reality, she happens to be one of Mycale's pawns for Gesellschaft (later Perfecti Cult/Knights Templar). As she (while possessing Kati's body) gives her the first request (especially this one is already in the game), to betray and kills her boss; Yin Hu (who is the one of Murakumo clones). And Mycale (as the messenger) gives her the second request, to defeat or kill Akatsuki then take his Blitz Motor from him for her to become the new leader of the traid. Forgive me for the spoilers who haven't read the novel yet, but I decided to do it anyway.

@@Eric-dr5iq It's novel based on beginning of the first game (Akatsuki Blitzkampf (Ausf. Achse), and also based on Akatsuki's story and loosely based on Marilyn's story (which it'a main focus on this character). That novel was a award returns from near-halfway a year ago. Edit: Did I forget to tell you this novel is only in Japanese btw.

It's funny how Marylin looks cute, smiley, fabulous and sexy in most of her portraits but she's actually like the complete opposite (Excepting being sexy and fabulous, she's always sexy and fabulous)

I remember when this was on PC only and was the hottest thing on the net right up there with Big Bang Beat. Looking at it now it seems dated, but I'd like them to revisit Akatsuki Blitzkampf outside of BBTAG. Add a few new characters with it and it'll slap again.

Here's another game that won't get much light because everyone is going to not take it seriously cause the girls are hot. I think the parry system is actually really cool, and the animators did a really good job on the sprites
