Update: The camera heats up a lot when placed inside the waterproof housing. It makes it a little foggy as shown from the motovlogging sample video. Also, even if it's shown to be worse than the 2019 version in other reviews, it still has a great value for money for me because of the quality of those underwater vids. Hey there, thanks for watching! Yes, the housing of the camera has good waterproofing. It doesn't leak or get inside when used for snorkeling. Just don't forget to rinse the case with fresh water after using it in the sea to prevent the corrosion of metal parts.

Hi, thank you for the review. I was hesitant to buy this camera due to the criticism against the new model. I plan to use it as an action cam and also as a dashcam. Have you tried the driving mode?

Hey there, thanks for watching! Unfortunately I haven't used the driving mode yet. What I can say though is that the camera heats up a lot if it records for long periods of time. I did use it for my motovlogging videos, and it fogs up when used inside the case. With that said, it still captures moderately sharp and stable videos if you do plan on using it as a dashcam.

Hey there, thanks for watching! Yes, I used the waterproof housing and attached it to my helmet. It was also handy because it rained at times when I was filming, so I didn't need to worry about the camera getting wet.
