I have had this camera for a few years now. I have brought it twice snorkeling in Kauai. Using the dive mode setting it worked very well. I would say to use it on a medium angle for best results. After going in salt water, make sure that you rinse off all the fittings and air dry immediately to avoid rust. I think that the best setting for action video is to use the 60 FPS setting. The resolution is not the best but you do not get the jerky motions with the lower frame per second settings. This camera also worked well as a dashboard Cam, attach to the top of a ski helmet and on a bike handlebar as well.

Chris,snorkeling in Guadeloupe in a weeks time is exactly why I bought this and any more advice would be greatly appreciated as I am only a 2nd time snorkeling.

Do you have a user video for the regular EK7000? I'm trying to make mine NON wide angle and can't figure it out.

How do you get it to start recording? I thought I recorded a meeting and nothing got recorded.

Thanks for watching first off. I do have a playlist of all the videos I’ve done with these cameras(I have a few). I generally use a 32 GB card. It seems to work the best for me.

Can I use any external microphone that has the proper USB connector or do I have to use a specific one.

You do, they don’t come with one. It takes a micro SD.

Can we see how it works underwater? Also what happens when the video time finishes?

Thanks for watching. I will work on getting a video testing the waterproof function/quality. Also when the video time finishes, run out of space in sd card, the video will just stop. It will prompt you that you are out of space.

I used mine with the “waterproof” case while doing industrial firefighter training. It got wet through the case somehow and was basically a puddle of water inside. I opened the case and let it air dry a couple of days and turns right on.

Hi can you transfer videos to your phone without an SD card for the camera I have the same one like download videos from the akaso go app also they say you can record remotely from your phone and they said you can save videos please help me my camera will be delivered on Monday

You have to have a micro SD card in the camera or it will not take pictures or videos.

I use 32gb. But as for brand, I have used plenty of different brands and I don’t have a preference. I used to have some linked in the description.

It does not come with the micro sd card. You cannot use it without.

will not connect to app tried everything any suggestions.. everytime I try to add device it goes right back to the add device screen then app wants to close

@@TheBeardedOutdoorsman18 I just got one and they seem pretty decent for the price. I think the majority of people down them on here over the GoPro but if you tinker with the settings, exposure, etc., you can get a decent recording or pic.

Even at full volume on my desktop it is difficult to make out what the guy is saying.

Yea blocking your channel. Bought this based on your review. Crap out of the box. Powers on and then record button doesnt work. go to menu and hit video, which its already on and record button works. Stops intermittently and then overheats and wont stop recording, Need to force quit. Thx

Well thanks I guess. Block away. In case you weren’t aware, I don’t work for AKASO. The AKASO cameras I have, have worked great with no issues. Guess you got a lemon. Maybe even a fake. But who knows. Normally I would say see you around, but if you are blocking me, guess that would be a waste. Either way, I hope you have a wonderful night/day (not sure of your time zone) and God Bless!!

I was highly disappointed when I used this on a 5 day backpacking trip in Costa Rica .. the videos were grainy and the pictures were horrible quality! Maybe the setting or something needed to be changed but save 80$ and invest it in a GoPro .. this felt like a toy very cheap plastic ..
