Akai X-360 cross field reel to reel tape recorder in excellent condition

This machine has been recently fully refurbish.
System Control board was rebuild.
All bad components incl. capacitors were replaced.
All mechanical moving parts were strip and clean from old sticky grease.
It is beautiful piece of vintage audio gear from golden era of 70's & 80's

Hi Loved your video! I have 2 of them, an X-360 and X-360D Both need capacitors-once I find the right spark arrestors for the SysCon board I’ll at least have the X-360D working. There are also spark arrestor capacitors buried deep in the speed control. Congratulations on a great working example!
My dad bought one of these brand new back in the late 60s. It was a great piece of stereo gear.
Nice video, I found it because I was looking for information about the reel. I’m planning on getting one tomorrow. Will see how that goes.
8:53.. omg This is how tape breaks apart. The breaks must not be so strong.
