Using a simple sustain pedal to create a loop pedal setup with the Akai MPK Mini MK3. This technique will work for most MIDI Keyboards with sustain input. Even if you don't have a pedal, you can use the same technique by mapping any midi button, the same way we map the pedal in this video.

I use to have a Roland sampler but never really grasped how to use it to its full potential. We are talking late 90’s with no KZread tutorials. So thing is long gone but this tutorial may just push me to get back into dabbling with music! Very informative! Thanks!

Taetro, I feel so encouraged to deeply explore the potential of this machine. So far I've worked exclusively with software instruments, but now that I also have an MPK Mini, I hope it will help achieve more breakthroughs. (I've been a guitarist since the world was flat, so it was epochal for me to jump over to digital composition.) Anyway, I love your approach and look forward to many discoveries with this remarkable instrument.
