Changing the time signature of your sequence on the MPC Key 61 can be confusing if you don't know where to look! In this video I cover two different ways you can change the time signature of your sequence within your project. Very difficult way. If you already record in wrong TS, you need create new seqence with correct TS and copy there midi events from wrong seqence for each track. More I not find upbeat on it. It's no problem if you record just track, but if you work with looping it's problem - unnecessary pauses appear.
Hi ,,,love your 61 keys videos ,,very helpful ,,,could you let me know what mic you are using please ,,,as it sounds pretty clear etc ,,,also how do I get the mic level monitor on the keys to stay in the same place ,,,as whenever I set it to a position ,,,as soon as I record it moves down ,,,and I have to reset it ,,,hope that makes sense ,,,thank you 🙏
One additional question do you have a video on making 808 glides on the MPC key 61 I saw you could do it on the Akai drum synth but it possible to do 808 glides on the MPC key 61?
Sorry, my English is not perfect for understand You, so my question is: Is there a possibility of make a Sequence of 4 bars in 4/4 and at the end 2 bars of 3/4 or 5/4 , to add complexity and variety, as they do in jazz fusion and progressive rock, etc.? thank you !

Yes that is possible! Insert bars with the time signature you would like, but don’t delete the other bars like I did in the video. Then you will have some with one time signature and some with a different time signature.
