This is a great video Douglas. When I figured this same workflow on my Keys 61 my productivity pretty much doubled, like unlocking the "Easy" button. This part of the Akai MPC workflow is where the money is! As a Blocks user in Reason I found this more useful and love going DAWless to stay in the creative flow.

Question! When you apply an effect to a sample, it applies to all the sequences that have that sample 😥 how do I apply the effect just to the sample in a specific sequence??

Great video. I can't decide whether or not to buy the key 61 with all the extra sounds. The 37 is small and compact but I rather have more sounds and features.

I'd already own this device if it wasn't this obnoxious looking red. Completely ruins it for me that I ordered a Live2 instead lol.

Had to switch off To much like I’m watching rainbow. Talking to the public like we’re 10 and your bungle. IMO Watch someone like Tefty Music Tech, or anyone that doing well, they talk on a level to the public, this is more like being in a primary school. Compare back to back I’m not trying to be funny. It’s just so obvious I can’t watch it. As much as the info might be invaluable.
