I've been a long time subscriber of the channel and Kelvin's too. It's interesting to see the shift in enthusiasm when it comes to Tesla as a company. Kelvin, Boon Tee and Eric seemed a lot more bullish in the past. Now they are just so "jaded" when it comes to Tesla and Elon. ;-)

Falling in love with a stock and overallocating are hard lessons to learn. Tesla still has that founder's spirit split between X and Tesla. BABA can be great again if Jack ma is really back. Both are politically exposed, so I'll wait for Tesla 100 and BABA 30 to load up.

Thank you the BagHolders for doing these podcasts. I tink same case as AliBaBa, Mr. Jack Ma propel the company to a certain level. Once he believe he has done most of the things that can be done, that's why went over to the next phase of business succession plan. In the case for Tesla, Mr. Elon Musk has still a lot of potential of Tesla to grow in to different aspect of business into EV, battery packs, FSD and renewable energy. So for Mr. Elon Musk to leave Tesla now, we as retail investors will lose the entire growth story of Tesla. I agree with Boon Tee view that strong company MOAT is more important than record low valuation of a company.

I would think BABA's Moat would be Alipay's mobile payment market share of over 50% while Wechat Pay is around 40%. It is essentially a duopoly in China. So Baba is not going anywhere anytime soon. There is also the recent favorable regulatory development in China that is driving up the market these few days.

Elon Musk is someone either you love or dislike him, but he is synonym of Tesla. He has contributed substantially to Tesla, but he has also "harm" Tesla's stock after his acquisition of Twitter and his political statements. Key man risk is real and i think he is both an asset and a "liability" of Tesla 😂
