I need to see the movie again, it was a lovely watch. I enjoyed the general story, although the core of the film felt a little overstretched for my liking. Also, the fact that the relationship between Ronke Oshodi's character and her children was not properly explained.

That’s true! 🤔 It felt like the issue between the mother of the groom and her kids wasn’t resolved and that was weird seeing as they spent a lot of time on that storyline. I’m surprised that you’ve seen the movie already. It’s only been out for 5 days. You didn’t waste time at all. Lol. Love it. 👍🏽🎬

@@titoabumere I saw it a day after official premiere at the cinema, I wanted to see it on the first day but trust our cinema to give the wonkiest showtime. I am glad to see the movie bagging more and more showtime across the city. On the lack of explanation of the mother & children relationship, that will be the only flaw I had. Also, the lack of depth to the bride's father, he was also pivotal in the story.

Ohhhh Tito you got it on point, the continuity caught me unaware at that ambulance scene!!!!!

😂 Good question Temitope. 🤔 I guess I woulda just faced my front and done the review normally. By the way, who says that hasn’t actually happened to me before? 🤫😉 Also, I feel like a kickass premiere is an indicator of a good, or at least decent, movie. Because when a movie or series is below average the makers tend to know so they don’t really go all out and spend a lot of money on a lavish premiere event. 💰 They might spend a truckload of money marketing it but they won’t spend too much on the premiere especially when they could actually have afforded to. This is just my personal opinion.

😄 That one we saw at AFRIFF late last year abi? Lol. Premieres never start on time in Nigeria (and that’s something I’m just going to have to get used to sadly) but because of all the partying they wanted to do before the screening of AJOSEPO on premiere night they did a decent job with keeping to time. I think we entered the cinema around 10pm. The invitation said red carpet: 6pm.

I think Tomike was in Jenifer’s dairy in the early seasons
