Exactly. I know Sara means well but you never get comfortable with the loss of a loving mother. The absence is always felt but you learn to live with it because you have to and it’s possible.

Whoopie... such precious words...❤ I felt you were speaking to me, a 64-year-old orphan and I know it was hard to say them. This amazing young man is such an inspiration,. You can feel the love of his mom, grandmom, and so many surrounding him. Thank you for this. It's so good to see this beautiful family "going through" together along with many others.

@patriciagarrison449, grief really is a private thing because we all grieve differently. There is nothing worse than people who say to another person "it's been x (fill in number) of years, get over it. Nobody get's over it they just handle it differently.

​@MatthewsFav Exactly...I lost my sweet mama last year, I get so angry at people who want let me have my moment...they want to insert someone else lost or their lost years ago, I don't want to not acknowledge anyone's pain or lost, right now I am trying to process things, my pain most time I just shut down. Folk can be so insensitive, there's no time on grief... Iam totally broken 💔..prayers to everyone 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

So painful to watch them doing through the grief. But I think the hosts are doing a good job comforting them and giving them good advice.

What a sweet, articulate, SMART young man! Sunny spoke truth when she call him a young King. I hope he continues to be uplifted as he grows and hope to see him again when he gets older. No doubt he will be doing good things for others.

Some how I felt Israel's Mom presence. Grandma you are doing a great job as you also grieve for your Daughter. Ladies of The View (Whoopi, Sarah and Sunny), it is obvious that you all share the love for children as Mother's. Thank you for your compassion to Israel, his Brother and their Grandma. WOW! I’m crying so hard right now! These ladies on the View nailed this one so brilliantly! Honestly, it was like they were his Guardian Angels! I absolutely melted. It’s the toughest topic on the topic to discuss when it comes to children. I know Sara is going on to another show but since the show is on a Sunday does it mean she will not be returning to The View? She’s fantastic on this. I love the Cast of The View now. Best ever.

Whew😔😔 a beautiful and tender, touching segment. This boy, my God, trying to be so strong and that alone, just absolutely kept me choked up. I'm glad Whoopi and Sunny and Sarah said what they did~letting him realize it's ok for him to cry and grieve. I cry for him too. This breaks me up seeing and listening to this again as I write. The entire show was really a good one❤ BTW, the camping gear you all presented to him~made his soul smile..I loved thats whatever place that was he's going camping, can you mention that place again?..is it just for young kids who are grieving? Thank you

I have worked with Experience Camps and I can tell you first-hand that it is amazing! The volunteers and staff work so hard to provide the campers with the most wonderful opportunity to have fun and be with people who can relate to how they are feeling.

It's so good that there's angels in this world still ! It's so important for those who have suffered trauma especially kids who often suffer in silence, and their end is trying to find out what, why, and how am I freed from the pain of past and that's a lifetime for some, other's find themselves either addicted, stuck, homeless or dubbed something else by the society we live in! I'm grateful for God's promise to do, to do!!! As seen here through loving compassionate humans.. to show up supporting the needs.. The poise, maturity, kindness, curiosity and intelligence of Israel is a testament to how his mother raised him. I was so impressed by him during this segment.
