One of the great clubs of Europe with amazing fans. Hope to see a game in Amsterdam soon as it has always been on my list of things to do. Just so I can sing along to Bob Marley and 3 little birds. 😀

I've a soft spot for both Rangers and Ajax, I went to the excelsior game 7-1 a few weeks ago, top notch atmosphere will definitely go to another game next time I'm in Amsterdam.

@@WHU63 before the 2nd world war, many Jewish-dutchies where living in Amsterdam, many of them supported Ajax. After that time there have already been Israeli flags showed or banners made, to support our Jewish brothers who had the same love as us, Ajax. From that point Ajax have always been linked with the Israeli flag etc, it’s a way of support and not forgetting the past. This is Amsterdam and this is Netherlands, this isn’t the Middle East, thinking about and respecting our own brothers past comes first. Nowadays those flags are still shown and let me tell you, that has absolutely 0.0% to do with the israel vs Palestine support. F side is one of the most multicultural sides on earth, with many Moroccan Muslims on it as well. They don’t care either, bc they understand the story behind it. Its not about supporting Israel in war. We will raise that flag wherever we go and ppl shouldn’t think that’s bc of politics.
