The Collected Teachings of Ajahn Chah was published in 2012. This is the complete collection of talks by Ajahn Chah that have been translated into English. During the Winter of 2012, Ajahn Amaro has given a daily reading which are recorded as audio files. What is collected here is the 'rough-hewn' edit of these readings. These talks are being made available here as a stop-gap, until the final version is ready. A final version of these readings, including the Q&A, is still under preparation and will be published, hopefully, in the near future.

Conditions arise from conditioning, otherwise things just are
What is the word he says at the end of these talks?
From the cessation of name-and-form comes the cessation of the six sense media.~ Kaccayanagotta Sutta Indifferent Metta
I just realised listening to this, that consciousness is not mine😂😂😂

is it someone else's or no one's?

Consciousness exists, but it is not something any person can claim to possess or control. If I say, "I own the sun", the sun is unaffected. Other people's interactions with the sun are unaffected. This is what consciousness is like.

Who is listening.....
Everyday I think about Death. Doesn’t matter rich or poor. We all going to die one day. I want to be able to let go. I been training. Still, I’m unable to let go of this Body and world. I wish one day I will be able to Let go!

Only the body dies

@@annilanta4583 He seeks to let go. If we say *only the body dies*, then we haven't let go, yet, because now we have to continue with the idea of a self. The idea of a permanent, infinite self, also brings dukka. To realize the Dhamma, one must see that nothing is there at all. It is all Maya(illusion), and a construct of the mind. The Khandhas of the body unite to create an illusion that there is an observer, but in true reality, nothing is there. Only Khandhas. This is where the beginning of freedom lies; in that realization.
