Very cool! You should check out the Douk Audio T8 pro (be sure to buy the pro version), which is a tube analogue equalizer. It has a fantastic price and has balanced and single ended connections. I've always wanted to buy it but I was a little afraid of the SQ having a cheap external PS.

Looks interesting, kinda vintage with all manual eq settings. But XLRs look promising and opamps inside can be replaced (I saw photos with sockets). I will see about the review as I don't usually use preamps myself (I prefer simple DAC+power amp combo). As for the cheap power supply - you can replace it with linear power supply though that will make it more expensive together.

@@danieleturrin5625 both that I've reviewed: BRZHifi and Sengterbelle are fine and below 100Euro, but the second one is a bit better (more power and less ripple)

i have the T9 pro and man I love how it sounds too! I am not sure if my ears are rubish or not but at the moment I think it sounds better than the new D5 Pro I just bought base on your other video... hopefully it will get better after the burn in!

No, it's not better :) If they sound anything similar to you than you have bottleneck somewhere: speakers, DAC maybe. D5PRO is on another level :)

I am considering getting a preamp to do that with the D5... any recomendations? idk whats the best way to do this woithout compromising the original quality... I am using the Geshelli Lab DAC with their best option of the opamp so I think my source should be good enough...

@@dtoe07toer29 Honestly? D5PRO plays in different league than AK4493 based Geshellis (and I do love and own 4490, 4493, 4499 based DACs). But your D5PRO will scale well with better DAC in future. As for pre, again, honestly - just start planning on getting new DAC with volume control to get the most of D5PRO. For now, something I think I can recommend if you really need pre would be Breeze L1. But personally I would just use volume setting at the source (PC? Streamer?) and plan on getting next DAC.

I enjoy your reviews, but this is an easy pass for me when you can get the superior T9 Pro integrated hybrid tube amp. The T9 Pro is probably the best integrated hybrid tube amp value that exists.

I've chosen to get T9 over T9 Pro for three reasons: 1 I prefer analog tone controls, for some reason I've never liked digital implementations, 2 looks better, 3 PRICE PRICE PRICE. It was like 2x cheaper then new version. I probebly should've raised that in my review though as this may be important.
