Your Aiwa is very nice! I have 2 of its equivalents from the 1990's. A Panasonic SA-AK40 and a JVC that is pretty cool. This kind of stereo is still around although the displays are not nearly as cool as the 1990's models.

how to activate surround speaker? I connect the top cable to the surround connector, but the speaker is silent and there is no sound from it.
