Support him, not do it for him. He should learn the difference

No supporting him and doing it for him is completely different if he wants to be an influencer he needs to do it by himself u did him a favour

"Just takes a moment" so why can't he do it himself? Supporting someone is *not* the same as doing it for them, but if it's something he's never done before maybe you could compromise and OP could *show* him how to do it for himself so he can start to feel more comfortable doing it without your help, because it just sounds like you did it for him without running through it with him in the past. If he refuses to or he continues to not 'know how to do **** ' then it's weaponised incompetance and he can't be bothered to learn and wants you to take the time to do it for him instead, if he does start to do it himself after you show him what to do, then you're golden. Give him the opportunity to show which one he is before you assume.

If editing/videos/pictures/etc. takes too much time to learn for him, or too much time for OP to help her boyfriend, I don’t see how the toddler has any quality bonding time with either parent.

NTA because supporting him and doing things for him are two different things altogether, remind him of that fact down the line.

His influencer life is not going to work out... If he can't even deal with a camera or a light stand then I would not trust him with anything actually important. I see this as him being totally incompetent on purpose and that's not fair on you and the little one, talk about being a bad father. 😂 Are you sure you want this dude raising a kid with you?. He's lazy and has kind of become a burden on you instead of a partner and I have lost complete respect for him as a human being... Now he's just a clown. 😊

It takes a few minutes… Set up a 15 minute window every week where you do this, and set in stone. If he misses his “appointment”, then let him deal with it… Partners help one another…
