What a wonderful rendition and amazing music this song has! I just wanted to listen to a few seconds and skip it but ended up dropping everything I was doing and was totally immersed into this. This song alone is 1000x better than the entire Shankar Mahadevan's clan performance who hijacked the night with irrelevant filmy music; it has it's own place and it definitely wasn't this place. Last year's programs inspired me to never skip any year but irrelevant filmy music made me rethink about my decision. That said, there were so many lesser-known as well as famous artists whose performance was such a treat to senses and energy this year. The cameraman/woman was in slumber for most part of the performance and didn't know when to focus where; for me, artists are divine when they are sharing their amazing gift with me, and when they are not in focus or if they are not suitably credited, it's a blasphemy; on most occasions, the keyboard or the artist playing it never came into the frame, sadly. I know now some idiot will come and justify why things had to be the way it happened rather than understanding what is being said and learning from it. Since I don't want to comment/respond again , I had to cover that point as well hoping it will act as a deterrent despite knowing idiots are immune to everything. This song is my instant favorite now. Hope they get to read this and it brings more joy to them .
