yes but as soon as your airtel dth plan subscription end all ott apps also stop working box don't let run any app without paying the dth subscription

I am surprised that you did not mention about how the box becomes useless if DTH plan is not taken or included in some bundle plan.

If u dont recharge the set top box with a channel plan, ott apps wont work even if its subscribed.... U can use Internet sharing or Mobile Hotspot in ur mobile across any network and use xstream box to stream or download ott content...as well as LAN connections like airtel fibre,jio etc... This box can be used with any tv....full hd 1080p,hd ready 720p...but preffered to use with 4k HDR tv for its optimal output.. To enjoy Dolby output ,a home theatre or a soundbar with Dolby and eARC/ARC/HDMI 2.1 input is needed...

Airtel xtream fiber box 1) 150 rs mandatory recharge to keep the box active and to watch OTT content. 😂 Mandatory to keep recharging every month. It is a set top box along with OTT app provision. That was not informed by engineering team while giving the connection. 2) the device is damn slow. Application wil get freezed while playing any content. Keep on clearing the cache. That is very hectic. I had to close the connection due to these two reason. I have jio fiber connection. Very smooth device, applications are working fine.

Biggest con of this xstream setbox is that whenever u use ott apps ur dth plan must be active.if its not active u didn't see any Ott app content.

Apart from this being a sluggish STB, Airtel lacks many HD channels and don't have Dolby Digital audio for many channels. Some FTA channels like France 24 and ABC Australia are also not available and Airtel channel packs are not available to the customers choice.

Bhai I have Xstream 100 MBPS plan but daily when I start it in the morning, I get download speed of 0.5 MBPS and upload speed of 120 MBPS. I have to call customer care everyday and they refresh my router. Only then I get download speed of 100 MBPS. Please tell me how can I refresh on my own without calling customer care ?

without dth subscription, it is a piece of #junk worth 2,500. better to go for alternatives. it needs monthly recharge to run the box via wifi or internet. #Badbox

Better to take normal hd box instead of xtream box. OTT content is unwatchable due to judder. This is simply useless.

If your Airtel DTH recharge gets exhausted, you won't be able to use the Apps including other features, and this device menu layout freezes after a long period of watching. But I can say it's far better than other brands. Can give a try 😜 👍
