someone tried to stock my friend with an airtag so he gave it to me and i reset it but it doesnt have an owner atached to its serial number witch i find kind of interesting. but when i go to set it up it says this airtag belongs to someone else. (sorry for misspells.)

SOOO ABOUT AIRTAG RESET AND REPAIR I was messing with the battery on the airtag and I reset it by accident not even knowing the reset function was there. I went to get a pizza and it said an unknown airtag was following me but it was mine and it wasn’t working on my side

U can play the sound to find it unless they took out the speaker. But when you find it make sure you take the battery out so they can’t track you.

If I upgraded my iPhone and gave my husband my old phone, how do I connect my airtag to my new iPhone and get it off my old phone, (which is now his). Thank you!

we have 2 cats and put airtags on them, set them up on my iphone 12, works great...wonder if there is a way to set up my wife's iphone 14 so she can also see them on her phone "find my" app?

we use around 12 airtags on our cats and what you ask unfortunately is not possible... Since a few weeks what I'm experiencing is that my iphone (not linked to airtags) is not detecting these airtags anymore ¿any idea?

Don’t use Duracell batteries. They have a coating on the negative side and that won’t allow them to make connection. So either use another manufacturers battery or remove the coating per other you tube videos before you insert.

You can remove the coating on the Duracell batteries using fingernail polish remover 👍🏼

If you lose your iphone and your keys you will never find your air tags on find my app on a device that isn't yours so it's pretty much useless happened to me this weekend lost my phone and keys with an airtag. Apple says there is no other way to find the airtag
