Airtable charges 20$ i.e $180 annually for Editors as well, read-only is free.

I tried Soft and Glide, but to archive the same functions as in Airtable Interfaces it is much more complicated. Although Glide is looking much better, and you can use it on your own domain with your own set look and so on, the setup is much more difficult (e.g. to build a dashboard you need in most cases formula fields whereas in Airtable it is just build in and the setup is much more intuitive). Airtable is a love-hate relationship for me, something between Glide and Airtable would be perfect. And to be honest, if you have 10 people hired and complaining about $30 price difference, you have the wrong business model anyway

What to do if we’re a builder with two editors? Just Airtable or Airtable + GLide/NoLoCo/Softr/Fillout?

Do you have a vidoe showing an Airtable/Softr interface so we can visualise what the solution would look like ?

There is also a difference in traceability for editors between Airtable and Softr. The changes they make to the database are tracked by name in Airtable, but not with Softr.

@@MrWarmerHeat not really. There's only one integration created for Softr, and it does not trace the user back to Airtable. That said, you can limit permissions so that only specific team members can view/edit data

just the question I was having, appreciated! Question though: if a client has 60 employers who need to edit (add a barcode) would this still apply ?

I migrated to Coda. Seems to have all the necessary features for my use case

Glad you found something that works for you! We tried Coda but it couldn't handle larger data sets, so it definitely isn't one we recommend for our clients any longer.

Regarding the API call limits issue. This would not be an issue with the business plan, correct?

Dont you think the applications are kinda slow to pull data with softr from airtable?

I guess that may be true if you have a huge dataset, but in that case you'll be waiting for queries made in any system. 🤷‍♂️

What about glide apps ? Isn’t it an even cheaper solution ?
