Great tip. We carry one as well, not for Airstream repairs or course. Never know when you need to build a campfire 🔥

Digital tread measure gauge. I keep one on hand. They’re cheap enough. Great list. G

Excellent list. With the exception of the pex cutter, we have every item. Most recently, the endoscope was a rockstar. We had the lid to our tea kettle fall into the Airstream’s nether region. We never, ever, ever would have found it without the scope. Safe travels.

Thanks guys. Was hoping you would give me a new Airstream tool recommendation so I would have a good excuse to add a new gadget to the toolbox. 🤣

@@thewrightlife Because you asked…. An offset screwdriver has been super helpful in those tight spaces.

I had an event where the break-away switch cable broke, and I couldn't sufficiently repair it. I don't know if anyone has mentioned it here, but they are inexpensive and I now carry an extra one.

Great tip. I too carry a spare breakaway cable. Knock on wood we never need to use it. Happy camping and safe travel.

I am looking for a 12 foot telescopic ladder for my airstream. There are a lot to chose from on Amazon. From $80 to $300 Do you know what brand you own? And are you satisfied with it?

Doug, we purchased the Ohuhu 12.5 ft telescoping ladder, and have no regrets. Unfortunately, I don't think it is available anymore on Amazon. However, here is a link to a similar ladder that is identical to the one we have. It is the Yvan 12.5 ft telescoping ladder amzn.to/3qil7Dt for $129. Hope this helps. Safe travels

Nice list! You may also need metric Allen keys for the back-up camera mount and other electronic items. A DVM like the Fluke 325 does everything a standard one will but also easily clips around a wire to measure current draw. Very handy!

I had thought about the Fluke, but based on my limited electrical experience thought it would be overkill for my basic needs. Perhaps I will upgrade in the future as my electrical needs and experience increases. Safe travels.

I wanted so much to love the ViAir compressor but after purchasing this high priced item, I just don’t (I still carry it). My Dewalt MAX 20V cordless is quick and easy; no electric cords, clamps, or long coiled hoses. Dial in the pressure on the digital display and it hits it on the button. Easily fills a nearly deflated tire. Very light weight and I t uses the same battery and charger as my Dewalt drill and impact driver that I also carry. Seems like I charge it about once a year for all my routine pressure checks and top ups.

Excellent alternative air compressor recommendation. The ViAir has work really well for us, but I do like the idea and easy of a cordless air compressor.

Thanks for providing this video. I recently purchased a used Airstream and I knew building a good toolbox was necessary before I could hit the open road safety. Much appreciated.

I have ordered my first Airstream due in September and I am curious about the red numbers on the RV. Can you give me some information about them?

Congrats on your future Airstream. I am confident that it will bring you many great travel memories. Regarding the Red #’s on our Airstream. They indicate that we are members of the Airstream Club International (ACI). It is a national Airstream club with local chapters across the US for Airstream owners to get together for camping, social events and many other activities. If interested, there is much more information on their website at airstreamclub.org/. Hope this helps and safe travels

That’s a pretty comprehensive list! You captured every needed tool. 👍👍 The only thing different that we are carrying is a full 1/2” drive socket set. I need a few more sockets and breaker bars to keep the ProPride hitch torqued to spec. 🚀🦩
