The Libiao Airrob system comprises five key elements:
• Racking, with two steel rails attached horizontally
• Totes to transport the goods
• Airrob pick robot equipped with an upright column that can climb vertically and horizontally
• Airrob carrier robot located on the floor to move the container to the pick station
• A workstation where the goods are brought prior to dispatch
A further component is the software developed by Libao’s in-house technicians which controls the whole system.
Airrob provides a high density of storage allied with a high picking efficiency. Its design requires minimal infrastructural adjustments to the racking - it can be affixed to virtually every existing type of regular warehouse rack - and it operates without the need to modify the warehouse floor.
