I’m wondering how better are (or not) over ear headphones (Sony 1000x m3) for noise canceling of people and kids playing around, or if the difference is not that big from the AirPods Pro. From 1 to 10 how good are Sony's and Apple's. I’m looking to buy one or the other. Help is so appreciated.

@@BrixsDNAfortnite I have Sony Noise cancelling headphones, they're not their flagship ones but their decent quality and retail for about £130-150 now. I'd say their noise cancelling is 8.5/10, and the AirPods Pro noise cancelling is 7.5-8/10. So there is a slight difference, but the AirPods do it quite well considering their size. Just tried the AirPods Pro while biking outside - coz that's why I got them - and you definitely still hear the cars, and you hear the wind somewhat loudly - but with sound about 50-60% you can comfortably listen to music or even listen to a podcast or the reading of a book. So they do their job. And my audiophile friend said the sound quality was really good considering the size.

SergioRacoon I heard Sony WF-1000xm3 dropped calls unlike the AirPods Pro. The connectivity for the AirPods is seamless. No hassle it just works especially if you’re already in the Apple ecosystem. Maybe the Sony’s are better to dull out loud bangs than the AirPods. Don’t really know. But in a busy mall or diner when the background noise is more like white noise is pretty much gone when you got your music playing. The AirPods Pro also frequently scans the environment some 200 times a second to match the frequency it registers before it corrects it and adapts for it. Another thing is you don’t get that clogged feeling in your ear (airplane feeling) as it pressure releases from it valves. Go to an Apple store and try them out on the spot for yourself. They have that service or buy them and try them out in your own comfort if you prefer. I live in Sweden so I had 2 week of trial period at home if I wasn’t satisfied with them I had the option of returning them within the trial period.

Regular AirPods users: I smell broke in here. Oh wait, it’s me.

To my ears these 3rd Gen Air pods are more comfortable compared to the newer Pro version with the soft gel tips. kzread.infoUgkxgl8SzyQoymMu-S3V55Dskg5QJ8xr1yCR That said, compared to the 3rd Gen, I notice these do not stay planted in the ear as well. One design issue I think, is you squeeze the stem and click it twice to advance your songs. On 3rd gen you tap the large speaker. The difference is by grabbing the stem each time, you tend to loosen the bud fit in your ear. Not always, but the bud falls out a few times while running. The old tap to change never had that problem for me. I would not have changed that tap function. That said, the newer Pro version sticks in the ear, almost airtight if you want that. I do not like that Airtight fit. So that's why I'd stay with this version as the best trade off of comfort, use, and overall feel.

@@BrixsDNAfortnite look, for pure sound with music, sonys are better, for noise cancel, they are almost equal. although with sony you can adjust the level on noise cancel. air pods pro its either on or off, but with on it works great.. what it comes down to is.. your phone, do you use iphone? get the airpods pro. do you use andriod? get the sonys.. imo

Wow I just found your channel, ever since you left idownloadblog, missed your reviews for sure!

I tried them at the Apple Store, and they didn’t fall out of my ears, no matter how much I wiggled my ears. Walmart had them for about an hour and was lucky enough to snag a pair a couple days ago. They sound excellent! They sound a hair cleaner than the Powerbeats Pro, but same sound signature. The ANC puts you in a different world. Watching the battery go down is giving me anxiety, because I’m 25 minutes it’s already at 90 percent.

The ANC is absolutely brilliant and the only reason why I got those. It makes downtown traffic go absolutely silent. Almost an eerie sensation sitting on the subway in complete silence.

Sorry if I’m being stupid but why does transparency mode exist? I’m about to buy airpods pro in a few weeks, but why shouldn’t you just turn off noise canncilation? Then it would just sound the same or is transparency mode actually different?

I love mine. Noise cancellation cuts out the sound of people chewing!! Whew!

My Airpod Pro's tips have a smell (some says it's like Blueberries, Google "airpod pro smell" you'll find it) that just won't go away after I wiped them with water, alcohol and vinegar. Does anyone's Airpod Pro have similar issue?

Does anyone have the "red exclamation mark" issue? When I put my AirPods Pro back to the charging case, the animation on my iPhone always showing one of the pods a red exclamation mark.

augustya it thumps man. I have both. Its basically the same as the Powerbeats Pro, except those have an extra 10% of rattling bass (like car speakers) that honestly muddles the sounds. I like the Powerbeats, but they make my ears sore after an hour. The AirPods bass is just as punchy, its very hard to tell the difference. The ANC just adds to the listening experience.

With me having the first AirPods for a year & some change, The battery life starts to degrade the more you use them and I’m thinking about getting these things but will they have the same battery problem and start dying faster the longer you have them ?

That’s why they’re not worth it because they only last for a year or 2. Unlike big ANC headphones which last for more than 4yrs. Just keep changing ear pads.

Was skeptical as I love the fit comfort and the fact that I can hear people talking if I’m walking with AirPods at work. Comfort is great on pros and if transparency mode is on it sounds EXACTLY like original AirPods. So ANC is just an extra feature

@@cykablyat4103 yes but you don't have the off option unless you connect to ios device can be ipad or borrow you friends phone ... but you must connect to your samsung device first so that it use your name on the airpod instead of your friend then connect to your fris ios and test the ear tips and chnsge the setting by allowing to switch between transparency off and noice cancelling mode with the 2s hold . One small problem on android is that you cant see the battery or what mode you r on. With the mode i memorise the sound

My only question is can you use the squeeze controls when you are skiing with a helmet?

Best earbuds I’ve ever had and I’ve gone thru many trying to find the best suited and these definitely hit all the marks...their sound, including bass and general clarity and certainly the ANC, even easily trumps the Bose QC35 which are over ear but sounded quite tinny at times, awesome review, these are the ones to get!!

Good video thanks. Just one thing, think there has been ++ videos on unboxing and even more reviews now. They all say the same thing.

It’s a tad frustrating not to be able to get a good seal on one ear regardless of how much ‘adjustment’ I do or which of the included three silicone tips I use. The answer of course would seem to be for Comply Foam or some other third party supplier to offer a more comfortable and better sealing alternative. In the meanwhile my trusty Bose over-ear QC35 II will continue to keep the airline noise at bay...while my Bose QuietControl 30 will continue to be my dependable gym/jogging noise cancelers. I’ll keep the Apple Pros as a novelty...though they are largely functionless as actual noise cancelers..at least for me.

GRT review (as always)! I tested in the Apple store and just didn't like the earplug feel and when testing the mic quality on a phone call w a friend and playing back verbal texts just sounded muffled so that was the deal breaker for me, sticking w the originals. Totally agree with WHATSUP w no other colors (Blk) still Apple!

Luke Tech Essentials TV You simply walk in through the front doors and say ‘I’d like to test a pair of the new AirPod Pros’ at least at the Pasadena CA store is was that easy. They even offer sanitary clean wipes or fresh pods... 10 mins later I was unfortunately let down by the first hand live mic quality testing and earplug feel discomfort

Luke Tech Essentials TV I’m not going to be rude like some towards the OP, but my experience is the complete and utter opposite! The original AirPods had an excellent mic and these aren’t any different (the originals and these are better than the Sony’s which are better in general at music playback). People have a tendency to stick these things as far in their ears as they possibly can (in that case EVERYTHING is going to sound muffled of course), but I assure you that when placed correctly these are an excellent product. They’re not Sennheisers (sp), but they are extremely efficient and enjoyable at the intended functions. Worth the money, unlike most of Apple’s other accessories. ***These are not audiophile quality buds and they don’t try to be, but simply being able to use them independently is a plus. There are some costing more that can’t, or you’re limited to only the right bud when you need an ear free (surprisingly inconvenient). Enjoy...

Don’t forget; volume control can be achieved with the Apple Watch Digital Crown. Like the noise cancellation; one problem; even with the proper ear tip; I’ve still had one of the pods fall out of my ear a few times.

I have also found that they can tend to creep, not sure why, generally good fit, but have had to touch them every now and sometimes finding that they creeped out a little. The original AirPods fit me great, riding a motorcycle 60 mph never a worry. But I love these AP Pros.

NG maaz no it comes with a lightning to usb-c cable. Just no charging block, so you’re good.

Hi this thing is stuck in my mind for a week. I am totally confused to put Rs.25,000 INR in AirPods pro. I just want to know if someone got my AirPods pro without my knowledge (theft), then is it possible to track my AirPods pro. Yeah, I know its easy if it is connected to icloud.com but what for the android users. Is it possible to track the AirPods pro with the serial number to which iPhone it is connected and past apple devices it got connected? ( if I got the serial number of the AirPods pro whether or not it's connected to icloud.com) If I am putting such a huge amount of money only for earphones which are actually equivalent to my one-semester college fee, I expect to have this feature. I googled it but I didn't really find an answer, hope you can give me one. Please take a few minutes to answer this.

White color doesnt "attract dust" - it make it look more visible, big difference IMO

I got mine yesterday and I love them! The noise canceling is amazing in the gym! It is also water resistant to sweat, which caused my second gren to die.

They are awesome, if they only stayed in my ears.

I am actually glad I am getting the pros instead of sony, even though I have a choice, The pros are more comfortable, sweat-resistant, faster and I travel a lot, and sony has better notice cancelling and sound, but can be uncomfortable and may not stay as much in the ear like the pros. I just choose the pros because it is a more easier and better wireless earphones for the cause I am using them for.

But are they easier to clean?

Kept my Powerbeats for the gym use the AirPods for literally every other situation

I used on air flight for the first time yesterday. Worked great - I no longer have to carry my over the ear headphones
