By the way, just an update, Sony has multipoint connection now and Bose has the ability to use either buds independently now. Bose also said that they will release aptX sometime in spring 2023.

Just bought bose qcii… oh my god the ANC !! It’s insane !!! They have better anc than my xm4 headphones over ear 😮😮 tried them on my tractor (lawnmower) and with the bose i hear nothing !! Only my music ! With my xm4 i hear the rumble of my tractor ! I don’t understand how they do that ! Bose excellent job !!

Disappointed with the audio quality of the pixel buds pro. I'm not sure why Google didn't go down the aptx or LDAC route or even something more upto date than Bluetooth 5.0. With 5.3, 5.2 even 5.1 Bluetooth tiu get better stability, fewer issues connections etc. I suspect Google are putting their focus on their next release which might do lossless aptx, maybe and also to up the game, audio wise, in their pixel phones which have fallen behind.

great 2022 Review of these flagship buds. I got the XM4s thinking my big ears can easily accommodate these and I was right. long use wasn't really a problem with these atoeast for me. sound is nice After EQ and great for podcasts. I moved uo from galaxy buds to these so absolutely loving the battery life which was one of the main reasons for gettjng these. Sony doesn't shell out new updates now a days after having them frequently in first 4 months ( m having these for 7 months now. only two things I miss from my Buds days are THE SEAMLESS CONNECTION FEATURE where I open the lid and a pop up appears to connect. Second having no Seamless Multi Point like galaxy buds. Other then missing these two things m Fine n happy. Although I still think these should not have this much of a price tag. Anyways Awesome Analysis as always guys. Lage raho 🙂✌🏻❤

I love my Sennheiser MTW3s, and can confirm that you CAN enable/disable ANC with the touch controls. You simply need to adjust them in the customize option in the app.

Just got the sennheisers and the sound is incredible, an equalizer that's simple to use and they come in a nice case, i have the sonys and buds pro 2 but the sennheisers beat them both for sound.

Just bought Buds 2 Pro. I really like it. Just wonder if I should update to TW3 for better sound. Buds 2 Pro seems to be more bass and not so clean mids

The competition in the high-end earbud space has become really impressive.

Excellent video! I bought the Sonys a few weeks ago when I got my Fold 4 - wish I'd seen this video before then! The XM4s are good, but I'm not convinced they entirely live up to the price, especially in light of what you've shown here. I feel the controls on them are rather limited, having to pick a control 'scheme' rather than being able to customise controls is pretty poor.

You guys just earned a subscriber. I was dead set on the Bose until I saw this review, mainly because the mic quality is so bad. Is there a way to listen through the earbud but speak through the mic on iPhone (like we’re holding a walkie-talkie)? It bring one earbud closer to our lips to get better mic input? Has anyone tried that to get around Bose’s bad mic?

I use iPhone 12 and a secondary Android device. So I had to get the Sony XM4 which I got at roughly $157 converting to INR and luckily it fit my ears without pain for longer periods. But I would still say its not as comfortable as the other tws. I almost bought Samsung Buds Pro 2 at $109 until I realised the Buds Pro 2 isn’t supported in Samsung buds app for iPhone.

Ha, ha, first time I see the waves thing about transparency mode. Excellent review guys and excellent job. But guys, is it seriously so cold in Netherlands you need a bonnet? Come to Madrid, we still on short pants and tshirts....

I bought the MTW3 a couple of weeks ago and I’m very satisfied. Good build quality, good ANC and at least for me a secure fit. Running is also possible with them. Especially in terms of ANC Apple and Bose might be better but what I like with the Sennheiser that they offer nearly the complete package here: Wireless charging Good sound quality (with a bit of tuning they sound fantastic) ANC works well Multipoint was added with a firmware update in early October You can only use one bud Connection management with the sennheiser app Design is relatively subtile Highly recommended.

@@konstln5503 the wind mode works good on them. ANC overall might be better on the AirPods Pro 2 and the Bose - but as I said the overall package is not really offered by these ones. Sound quality might even be better with the Sennheiser.

Such a detailed review!! I bought my senheiser yesterday for 192$ and was so confused between these and the AirPods pro2’s which is around 230$ now. Hope i made the right decision as an iphone user. The only regret is the case size compared to the apple.

Hey! Just a note for the Bose QC II part. I had Bose True Wireless Earbuds for many years. Always the left earbud can be use for calls and mono listening. The reason is that as you mention in the video, Bose use it's own adaptive EQ. This module is installed in the left earbud with the Bluetooth radio chip. Other, right bud is always stay passive and just receving signal from the left. Technically the communication and connection only capable with the left earbud's hardware. Bose never changed this approach, because two EQ chip increase the product price and making troubles and may cause weird stereo soundstage. It is not a bug, it is a feature. That's how the Bose thinking. Anyway... to call with only the left earbud is more life like. I always laugh about shouting people who make phonecalls with a noise cancelling headset and wear both bud in a same time. They not know how loud are they because both ears are plugged completely. :)

How is the audio on the air pods 2 pro? I have the Samsung and love the audio. Gen one AirPods I hated the Audio

One of the major concerns I have with the MTW3 is the product quality and connectivity issues. Had to return a newly purchased pair, immediately after launch, due to numerous issues - connection drops, left earbud not connecting then right earbud not connecting, staying connected to phone despite being placed in the case and, finally, the left earbud completely losing sound. When it worked though, it sounded amazing. I decided to give Sennheiser another chance and picked up a new pair today at CHF 153 through a corporate discounts program, mainly due to the sound quality and overall fit with my lifestyle needs (work calls, ANC, travel portability). Let's see if the second time is the charm.

Update after a few months - second time is not the charm! Further, Sennheiser customer service is pathetic. Over two months and counting since the earbuds were sent for repairs. I've been rocking my trusted PXC 550ii and Momentum 4 these months. Sennheiser probably is just not very good at earbuds.

Great review guys. I would consider AirPods if they came in black but in white look like dental pick hanging out your ear. The max looked absolutely ridiculous on my bald head as well. 😢 the Bose intrigue me the most as an apple iPhone user

Just bought the airods pro 2, buyer beware if you do not have an iphone do not buy the airpods unless you want to be stuck with your earbuds being in transparency mode 24/7. there is no way to take them out of the mode. i called customer support and the only way to change the settings is through the iphone bluetooth settings. looks like im gonna have to just buy a couple more ear buds to figure out which ones will work for me. I skimmed through the video so im not sure if it was mentioned that in order to get a full experience with the airpods you NEED an iphone otherwise youre better off buying skull candies. appreciate the time you guys put in for the reviews!!

I had to go through an extended return process for my Galaxy Buds Pro after multiple doctor visits and treating my ears with a vinegar solution for over a month to clear my reaction. It was horrible. I heard the Buds 2 Pro had the same issue so I am staying clear form Samsung buds.

Hello. I'm french and i have this problem with buds 2 pro and not with thé first buds pro. It's a Big problem. I dont no how tell in english. Je vais le dire en français. J'ai des croûtes et des suintements dans les deux oreilles. C'est horrible. Je ne peux pas porter les Samsung buds 2 pro. Ils irritent mes conduits auditifs. J'ai 54 ans et c'est la première fois que des écouteurs intras font ça. Je ne peux plus les porter. Dommage je les aimais bien avec mon S22 Ultra. C'est quand même un scandale et je l'ai lu plusieurs fois ailleurs.

Quick update for those who care or are reading. I purchased the Bose QC Buds 2 and I've been using them for about a week. While I love them for a lot of things, I think I'm going to return them. Like everyone else here, I'm absolutely astonished by how frighteningly good their ANC is. I could barely here my wife standing less than 6 feet from her with these bad boys on - pro tip for anyone looking to ignore their spouses :). Their sound profile is solid too.. bass heavy but solid! That said, their microphone performance in slightly windy conditions was horrendous. Folks on the other side essentially heard nothing except traffic and wind noises. Also, while I thought I'd be able to live with the lack of wireless charging, this is a minor nuance that's holding me back from having a cleaner desk!

Hey bro, can you please compare the AirPods Pro 2(spatial audio up) with the Beoplay EX? Which one has better bass, soundstage, and clarity?

I got the sennheiser for $190. They sound great but I get some ear fatigue after a little while. Not sure if I should return them and get AirPod pros 2 instead.I had the original air pods pro and they never impressed me with how they sounded but the AirPods Pro 2 seem to be a huge improvement everywhere. I don’t know what to do???

I have the gen 1 pros and they have given me a lot of problems despite getting it replaced 4 times. Since pros 2 launched I have been thinking of getting those (but don’t want to waste time getting them replaced now and then in case they turn out to be like pro 1). I am also considering Sony WF-1000MX4 as they have much better ANC along with a better sound quality. Can you please suggest which one should I get, I am really confused with either and I also live in the “Apple echo system (kind of)”. Your suggestions will much appreciated. Thank you 😊

Wow I like what you did with transparency. U should also take into account the "plugged in feeling" some transparency is really good but you still have the plugged in feel making short conversations uncomfortable. For example 1 more evo have this problem but buds 2 Pro don't. I'm assuming this is due to air vents?

How are they for ANC in outdoors?

I have the Bose and Galaxy Buds2 Pro. Samsung has slightly heavier bass but it's not punchy like the Bose. The Bose separate the instruments much better than the Galaxy and Airpods for me. I felt like the Sound ranking didn't do it justice. Bose balanced the hell out of the QC 2

I wonder how this is now that a lot of software updates have changed the goodness of some of these bids.

I just return the Sony super disappointed when it came to voice calling and it was making my ears soo warm overheating in less then 14 days! I am left to try Apple. Thanks for the vid.

I wound up buying the Sennheiser MTW3, Beats Fit Pro, and Airpods Pro 2 all to test out. The Beats got eliminated after the first two phone calls on them, although I did like the fit. After spending a full week going back and forth between the Sennheisers and the Airpods, using them for phone calls, Teams meetings, podcasts, and music, tweaking settings back and forth to find what I liked best about both, I ultimately decided to stick with the Airpods Pro 2. Both sounded great to my untrained ears, but the ANC and Transparency modes were clearly better on the Airpods. I also liked the touch controls better, especially the ability to adjust volume up or down on either bud. The only thing really lacking on the MTW3 was the inability to use transparency mode on phone calls or meetings. Being that I use my buds on a daily basis for work phone calls, the experience on the Airpods for that was much better for me. Those last two items are what sealed the deal for the Airpods. All that said, had I not spent the week trying out both of them, I'm quite certain I would have been very happy with w either one. Both are excellent choices and I couldn't fault anyone for their decision one way or the other. Thanks for the awesome content guys, Doing Headphone Reviews Most Excellently!

So quick update. Bose will update the qc 2 to support aptx adaptive let's hope they also bring multipoint too. They are using the latest qualcomm chip so there is a chance they could really improve them

I use android and IOS, having preferred my LG phones because of their quad dacs and wireless capabilites. However, the AirPods Pro 2 will be my first ever Apple wireless earbuds.

Oh wow, thanks for pointing out that Bose's left headset is not working independently. That's a deal breaker for me because it comes so close to Bose QC Buds 2. Thanks for helping me make a decision.

In India, I got Samsung Buds 2 Pro for around $106 and it's allmost one-third of the price of Airpods Pro 2. I'm surprised to know how costly these Apple products are in India!

Buds 2 Pro are a great choice. Their sound quality is slightly better than APP2 and ANC somewhat worse. However, you need to connect them once to an Android for configuring and updating, after which you are set.

I used EarPod pro since battery doesn’t last long I spot Bose QC 2 and it has written 8 hrs lasting battery so I bought and quality of music on Bose is unbelievable but microphone to phone call it is so bad. To phone call EarPod pro is better. Choice is yours battery or phone call 👍.
