god bless, had a big ass lint in the charging port, removed it put the charging cable in and it fit perfectly and now it's finally working (it fitted weird before which I noticed but didn't think much of)

Used the original cable it came with and now it’s working

easy fix, use electric contac cleaner and a cotton tip(swab). try to get a small metallic clip (paper clip)or a metallic needle and press the bottom contact on the case as many times as need it. I use WD40 too for loose contact in the case.

I've spent 3 weeks trying to connect my AirPods--number 5 solved the problem. Thank you do much. I don't. know if it will charge but it is now connected to my phone. Yeah! One step at a time. I will come back and listen to another episode if it doesn't charge.

My case is at 5% it says it’s charging and it’s plugged in but it’s not one of my AirPods is at 6% and it won’t charge it’s always barely charged for some reason and my other one was literally two seconds ago CHARGING BUT GOING DOWN INSTEAD and it went from 23% to 99% in a few seconds like HOW. The case can't charge my buds but they charging when the case with the buds is plugged in.

My Case was charging but i need to remove my pods out of the case before i charge it and if my case is full i will put in back and i will out again cuz the case was low and need to chare it again

I got a 2 months old AirPod 2, case and right AirPod works fine but the left isn’t charging. Tried cleaning the contact points, and resetting etc but still nothing 😒, right works perfectly fine

Try to charge with another charger, if it's still not working then the problem is in charging port, you can clean it or replacing it.

My airpods case doesn’t show any lights and i leave it charging over night and it only charges till 20%

Did you check the charging contact points on both the AirPods and in the case to make sure they are clean? Another thing you could try, if you have another set of AirPods from a friend or family member try putting theirs in your case to see if their will charge. Then, at least, you'll know if it's the AirPods or your case that is faulty.

The simple truth is, wireless ear buds are trash. They will never work as reliably as the wire ear buds

The case itself is always at 5% but the earpods charge but they die quickly. Planning to return them Edit: return them and got a new pair. So far so good no problems

so let’s you hypothetically you left your case in your sweater and proceeded to wash said sweater, and now your case won’t charge what should i do? edit: i shoved a toothpick in the case just in case, but then i began shoving the charger in and out and it started working. took about 3-5 times before mine started charging.
