While I don't want to downplay the individual innovation those Mesa RC kids had in their own planes, I have to give testament to how those 6th, 7th, and 8th graders working in a team helped create some truly amazing aircraft in both looks and flying capability as it appears. They've definitely outdone most of my early attempts at building for sure. Its incredible just what a team of individuals working together can do, versus one by them selves working on a lonely project.

A while back I asked if you could build an SE5A since that was the first control line plane I ever flew 60 years ago. I want to thank you for coming through with the SE5 plus the Fokker. I just received my kits the other day and I can't wait to get them built. And God bless you all for the work you are doing with STEM program! JIM C, N5QL Ft Wort, TX

zgr811975 yeah. The good old days where they were down in chads garage building scratch build rather than SBKs. But now Chad, David ad Peter are gone, I guess good things don't last for ever. But on the plus side, flitetest's new style got me into mini quads ;)

Hi, can someone help me figure out what's best for me in terms of an FPV systems? I'm going to have it on my FT cruiser, plan on flying about 250-300 yards away, would be using fatshark teleporter v5 goggles, and there would be no obstructions inbetween myself and the plane. Thanks

The lamp in the beginning Speedy-up-bit (a technical term) was funny to watch droop slowly. You should fix it!

I'm going to absolutely lose my mind if someone doesn't take a quad or a slow flying plane, preferably a quad, and slalom in between those 4 flag poles or whatever poles they are on the side of the property there. That needs to be a challenge of some sort really soon.

Realacc X210 2600kv version on banggood it's around $110 bucks. You will need some extra stuff to go along with it but if you are looking for a good price and race set-up this will work. Buy a multi pack of plastic standoffs to go with it in case you need extra parts.

I'm almost sorry to say this because those kids did an amazing job, but can you guys make it with and EDF motor? I personally don't like the prop in the middle section of the airplane, to me it doesn't feel like a jet anymore. Non the less, the design are fricking beautiful, sorry again, they might be the best on the store (if they are)

I may settle on Dom V3 and not HD3. I can't justify the additional cost of HD3s over V3. Doms are not cheap!
