Airoli Katai Freeway Latest Progress | June 2024
Airoli - Katai Naka Elevated Road project by MMRDA is an under construction 6 lane access-controlled 12.30 km highway with a route alignment connecting Airoli Bridge -Parsik Tunnel - Shilphata - Katai Naka in Maharashtra.
When the entire project is complete, it will benefit those traveling between Mumbai, Kalyan and Dombivali.

At 5.08 u can see how mafia has digged entire hill with stone crushing.
There is hardly 5% work since last 6 month. I heard that there is issue of funding to contractor, no enough money with state government to start phase 3 and complete 1 and 2 phase.

Phase 3 tender already floated by MMRDA and opening date is 21st June'24. Construction period is 42 months but as we know implementation speed of these companies, expect it to complete in 5/6 years.
Nice update Just to inform you, in my opinion entry/exit to Samruddhi mahamarg will be from Mumbai nashik highway, most probably cloverleaf interchange, please include this portion from Mumbai nashik highway to amne in next package 16 update of Samruddhi mahamarg, please thanks

Their are no sign to start 3rd phase work as per this video, some alignment problems will occur with mumbai ahmedabad bullet train project , if it is true then forget about phase 3 work for next 3 to 7 year , and funny part is overbridge at shilphata side which will connect phase 3 , finishing work completed with dividers and road marking .

Phase 3 will be done on priority once Thane HSR station development starts. It will play as a feeder route for mumbai northern suburbs traffic towards Thane HSR Station.

Work is Progressing at Snail 🐌🐌🐌 Speed. Doubt if the 2 Phases will be Operational by the current year end. The Completion of phase 3 will at least take around a decade more .

Phase 3 tab start hoga jab bullet train ka elevated bridge ban jayega. phase 3 elevated bridge will cross bullet train elevated bridge and there may be plans to link phase 3 bridge with Thane bullet train station so that there will be direct access to Mumbai.

At 05:11 Why there's hole in centre between the complete tunnel from mumbra to Airoli..... It is in the middle of the hills... Why that open space is created there?

It is kept for fresh air circulation & also can be used as emergency exit in case of any untoward incident in the tunnel.

Its a road link, not a water supply line... 😂 And we try to save even an inch of tunneling work as its a hefty job. Plus it's also make traveling more fun with change of scenery, easy ventilation.. And they didn't carved this space out, its a natural level of the terrain. The only thing I am concerned about is a drainage water channel beneath this open section as it's looks like natural drowning path for 🌧️ water. Otherwise it will definitely damage this section in a long run and may cause flash flooding inside tunnel during the monsoon season.

The thing about water flooding is the main reason I questioned that decision. It's okay if someone doesn't know the answer but what's the point of trying to be sarcastic with your answer as if I'm someone dumb who didn't even understand the basic reasons.
या रोड ला ऐरोली काटई रोड बोलण्यापेक्षा ऐरोली मुंब्रा बोलणे योग्य होईल , कारण हा रोड डोंबिवली काटई पर्यंन्त कधी होईल सांगु शकत नाही. कारण मुंब्रा पुढे साधा भराव पण झाला नाही , तर रोड कधी होणार ?

These culprit politicians never completed this project. we are suffering, why can't they understand? How many years have they been just committing but not completed. Actually, the dealine was May 2023 still so much delay why?
