Yikes sorry you got sick..its rough being away from home and you get sick. I finished a flight to Ketchikan and immediately got sick..laid up there for 3 days…anyway. Hope you didn’t get your Mom 🤕 sick especially with her having hip surgery..thats a brutal recovery

I’ve come close a few times getting sick on plane. One flight I was near back and someone threw up near front. Boy it stank the entire plane. Prayers to your mom. Hip surgery is no fun because my grandpa had that. Glad you’re feeling better man.

Pete, I did have exactl;y the same situation at work. It was an attack of stomach flu virus, and on top of that I was sweating and had a fever. I went home of course, but it must be difficult to get it in a different city, and then trying to return to wherever you live. These just small things, even if they inconvenience you, but everythin else must go on. best regards and hugs.

Amtrak Acela from Baltimore gets you there much faster but maybe you have to fly. I lived in a Bmore-RN at Johns Hopkins. Amtrak Acela is the best for my former hometown NYC…express train makes 2 stops…Just an FYI.

on my last over seas flight. I was fine ORD-LHR but then LHR to Doha, I threw up twice then Doha to KHI I threw up once. I would throw up just when the FAs brought out the food cart. No idea why because It smelled so good. Hope you feel better!

Sorry to hear about Your "Bug" - never fun especially in the air. Why not take Amtrak-Acela from BWI right into Penn Station = easier on the stomach & avoid flight chasing home?

What college degree would you recommend for someone wanting to be an airline pilot? Would you recommend getting a college degree at all? I know most of the airlines have dropped the requirement for a degree, but hear they still prefer if you have one.

I think having a degree is a good idea. Back up plan if something happens in aviation. I would get the degree in non aviation related field. That’s just me tho, def not required. I’d say airlines like to still see it tho. Shows you have high education.

Hey Pete! I am an editor for a 250k channel actually, but building hours as I do that so I can eventually be a pilot haha! I would say the new method is pretty distracting. I would personally nix all sound effects, do minimal graphic pop ups, and focus on retention through making smart cuts and treating the viewers time as valuable. I think you’re killing that last part, you always have been good at being an engaging guy! Just, if you’re asking, maybe less graphics and no sfx. Miss the older editing styles, this feels less genuine and less professional. Still love ya though, you’re one of my favorite channels! :) no hate at all. If you would like some tips, I always look to Derral Eaves for video strategy and Hillier smith is a solid choice for editing tips and method. :)
