After 2 1/2 long years, I've finally done it! While cruising home from DFW (Dallas Fort Worth) to RSW (Fort Myers, FL) at 35,000ft I carefully executed a well planned out proposal in front of a loaded plane of passengers. With the help of a great friend and an incredibly supportive flight crew, as well as many, many people behind the scenes, I managed to pull it off!
I played it off to Macy that another passenger on board the aircraft was going to propose to his girlfriend and asked that we assist in "his" plan. I would read the note "he" wrote to his girlfriend and then Macy would walk down the aircraft isle to escort his girlfriend to the front of the plane for the actual proposal.. Little did Macy know, there was never any such thing going on. I let her go about half way down the isle before I called her back (making it seem like I gave her the wrong seat number..) and that's when the magic happened!
