Airline passenger in ICU told her husband died
The wife of a Singapore Airlines plane drop victim was informed of her husband's death while he was still in intensive care. Some injured passengers from the flight hit by extreme turbulence remained in a Thai hospital on Wednesday (May 22). Meanwhile, others who were able to continue their journey to Singapore recounted the harrowing experience that left at least one man dead and forced the airline's CEO to apologize on behalf of the company.

Even worse when it's your child. Worse when they took their own life. Worse if you never considered this a possibility. Well everyone's own grief is the worst, but a small number of people experience the worst scenarios.

Condolences to the wife and family of the deceased man. So sad that the trip of a lifetime would turn to tragedy like that.
I hope Linda is able to recover physically and psychologically - please allow her space but also provide some companionship to grief properly for her husband. It’s just sad that they may have planned so much for this trip but it ended in such an abrupt and sad way.

It's likely the reason why significant injuries are said to be 30/211 is because most passengers were actually strapped it. What breaks my heart is the risk on our flight attendents, this occurred around or after breakfast, there would be passengers moving around (bathroom or every 2 hrs like reccomended) and FA'S doing cabin service with no option of being secured. Makes me so grateful for the staff that put themselves in risky jobs to ensure we are all looked after. Rip to the soul lost, and praying for as good as possible recoveries for those injured. Just an absolute tragedy

It's a very rare and sad case for SQ. Besides confirming that there certainly will be huge lump sum payouts from claims on the insurance policies of those affected passengers/victims of SQ Flight 321, will Singapore Airlines Ltd, the CEO and its Management settle this potentially expensive Class Action dispute via 'Out of Court settlement' if the families of those who died, got hospitalised and warded in ICU who underwent intensive surgeries for their spinal cord injuries and/or head injuries, yet end up paralyzed with consequences such as paraplegia (no sensation below the waist), comatose, semi-vegetative state, PTSD, memory loss, anxiety-depression, etc, requiring long-term future family, nursing, psychological and social work support for the rest of their lives?
Poor man
She didn't even get to see him one last time to say good bye. 😢 I'm very sorry Linda, hope your body and your heart will heal one day at a time. My deepest condolences to you and your family. 💐 & Sue the f out of sg airline!

It’s very sad but people are told to keep their seat belt on because this may happen. Maybe now more people will do as they are told.
Why the turbulence was not be detected in advance ?
@jeremygrice311
28 күн бұрын
Weather radars show pilots and controllers air pressure on a map. You can infer from the shape and the difference between different pressure systems what kinds of weather or turbulence to expect, but you can't detect (at least effectively) air speed through weather radar. That means that an extreme downdraft like the one this plane encountered would have been invisible on the weather radar
Can someone stop giving this 28-year-old air time? He filmed a video of the victims being lifted out on stretchers which is so insensitive.
Always have your seat belt on when seated.

Is there something wrong with motherhood?
Flying for whatever purpose is dangerous now due to unpredictable climate and atmosphere in the sky. If you can arrive with a few broken bones you are lucky. Oe if these days some planes won't arrive. And then everyone will blame manufacturer instead of weather change

They should have cancelled the flight or delayed it until the storms passed, the captain was mos def forced and operations too, ATC did them no favours aswell. That region is cursed asf and the only people who benefit are the shareholders and ceos who force airline crews indirectly to fly poor schedules... that part off the world in airlines are run by the worst type off managment in hr
