did you try the 2 rear and 3 lower fans as intake with the 3 radiator fans as exhaust?

Did you do a push pull intake on the side aio to see if it is better for thermals?

On the LianLi website they recommend a setup of push pull intake 6x120 on the vertical, 3x140 intake on the bottom and a 1x120 exhaust at the back. Has anyone given this a go? I agree that the low mount option isn’t as pretty.

First you need to control fan speeds .. Ideal is 3 intakes at the bottom, 3 exhaust at the radiator, and 1 exhaust at the rear. What I believe you might be overlooking is the radiator absolutely is going to slow down exhaust air flow and it will be balanced by the rear exhaust. If you want more airflow then increase the rear to 2 exhaust and increase the fan speed of the bottom 3 intakes.

Lian Li’s recommended setup is 6 fans at the radiator in push/pull config, 3 fans intake at the bottom and 1 outtake at the back.

Working on my first build and will be using the 7800x3d with a Xfx speedster swft 319 Radeon rx 6800 Will this case be alright with those parts? Any recommendations are greatly appreciated

I was thinking about using 3 120mm intake fans at the bottom 1/2 120mm intake at the back of the case and 360mm radiator in push pull configuration as exhaust which theoretically should create positive/balanced air pressure

thanks for the ideas - I like the modularity options for this case. I've never used a Lian Li case before but the design is definitely conceived well. I'm not chasing the ultra top specs so this might be nice for a new build!

Hello I’m planning to use i9 14900 with RTX 4090 in this case, I know the airflow isn’t going to be the best but is a solution so I can use this because I’m in love with it?

wouldn´t it be best way to justdo 4 intake and 3 exhaust by pulling air in the case from the bottom and the back and exhaust the air from the side where the AIO is gonna sit?

Hi great video and gives good answers to air flow since I’m considering this case. I was thinking what about 5 intakes and 3 exhaust resulting in positive pressure configured like this. 3 bottom for intake, 2 at the back for intake and 3 exhaust on the side with radiator. This way we address both problems stated which are the radiator doesn’t push hot air in from the side or having negative pressure. If anyone can comment on this configuration it would be helpful since it will be my first PC build and among all videos I’ve seen none have the back fans pushing air in so I want to make sure before I go ahead. Thanks

If you go 3in 4ex fans and use 140mm fans for intake, the case will still be under positive pressure because the air intake area of three 140mm fans is 2% larger than four 120mm fans.

You can also adjust the fan curves. Having only 3 intakes in the bottom go faster than the 4 exhausts will also achieve positive airflow

I got a 14900k and 4090 FE in the Vision case with all 120mm QX fans in it. 3 intake bottom, aio in exhaust and 1x120mm in the rear as exhaust. CPU is idling 32-38 and never spikes above 85C in thermal testing. GPU idles 31-35C and not more than 65C in full load in a 23-24C ambient room.

The CPU and GPU do not dissipate a lot of heat under load, I’m not worried about the temps for these combo

4070ti and 13900k. 3 intake frim bottom and 5 exhaust is deadke in this case its really hot at the back part near radiator. looking to add 3 more to aio from the other side and 3x 140 for bottom intake but i think its not will be any better

Positive pressure is preferred but for most people the few degrees of difference is negligible

If the mobo is mounted in the "low" position, how many PCI slots do you lose access to?

Depending on the GPU you are using, but it is safe to say that you pretty much lose them all 😂

@@archetype_origins Hmm I was hoping to lose just 1, or max 2 slots. So at minimum the mobo needs to have wifi, even if I don't plan to use any PCI slot except for GPU.

7900x3D will definitely run hotter in this case, I’d recommend using another case unless you absolutely in love with this case and didn’t want to change

That's what I did. 3 intakes from side where the radiator is and 3 intakes from the bottom and two exhausts to the rear. However, you will need to drop the motherboard tray to the low mode. If you have the motherboard stay on the high mode (standard configuration), then you can only fit 1 exhaust fan.

I'm running a 240 AIO on the rear for exhaust and everything else as intake. No problems for me. Never hit above 65c on either CPU or GPU. 5800x3d and 7900 xt.

@breedlofam that's actually a very smart configuration. 360 AIO is actually overkill for AMD chips. They aren't half as hot as Intel's. Most people only use 360AIO because it looks better (me included). It's not necessary.

@@Legz-sy4mg yeah easily enough. My cpu rarely gets over 55-60 and gpu stays in the 40-50 range

I think 3x 140mm intakes on the bottom and 4x 120mm back and side exhausts would be very even especially if you are using a radiator on the side.

I've been having trouble figuring out what kind of fan setup I should do with this too! I checked the website, and lian li recommends a push pull rad on the side, 3 140mm intakes on the bottom, and only one exhaust on the back. It feels like its too much positive pressure, but I might try it out myself

If you don't have a rad on the bottom(or a thick GPU), you can move the board down and fit 2 120mm fans at the rear

I'm considering 6 intakes (3x140 from the bottom, 3x120 from the side), and a 2x120 radiator out the back, and use fan curves to make it slightly positive pressure (which means higher fan speeds for the radiator fans so lower CPU temps). How well would that work with 5600X and 6750XT ?

This is possibly one of the best fan configurations for this case. 5600x and 6750xt don’t even produce a significant amount of heat, so you shouldn’t be worried

Well. I got this case and I'm going to build a PC with a Ryzen 7 7800x3d and an RX 7900XTX. This is my second ever build so I am not great at knowing about thermals, plus I'm using air cooling instead of an AIO. I guess I'll just hope that it works out fine.

差別還是會有的，但是會較小，可能在五度或以下。4080這張卡不容易過熱所以不用太擔心。 如果想要最佳效果，建議你 -3X bottom intakes -2X rear intakes -3X side exhaust

@@yurii851 ah, I was not aware of this. Luckily I was still on the fence of vertically mounting anyway, but it doesn’t sound like it is possible. I will keep the current config. I wonder if anyone else has done it this way and see if this is viable, OR if I should do 6 intakes and 2 exhausts which was recommended in this video

Its not about quantity, its about quality and configuration, you can have 1 exaust with high rpm as long as its silence enough it will do the job puting out the hot air.

Looks like it is still doing positive airflow, definitely doable! 3080ti and 12700k run hot, but you can ramp up the bottom fans to supply more cold air

Its a nice case, as long as there isnt a intel aircooled cpu in it 😅 i had a old desktop case from lianli, 2 x 20 cm intake Fans 1x 20 cm out, damn i miss these days when this was enougth for a aircooled system. 😮

How about 1 exhaust at the right top and the rest of the two right fans will be intake? Bottom will be intake, and the back for 2 exhaust.

I've had this case since March.. I can confirm with higher tier components this case isn't the best for heat management.. but gawd is it pretty

On vehicles white is actually easier and black is the hardest possible paint job as it shows every imperfection. Not sure how it's different for PC cases.

@@v3zMedia when painting lighter colors tend to need more coats of paint to prevent bleeding of the color from underneath which increases the price. Sense white is the most lightest color it tends to need the most coats which increases the price. also this is not taking in material costs. cause some paint colors are more expensive to buy then others.

@@jtwhat3004 That's correct. White paint is easier to paint you just need more coats of it. It's the same in the auto body field. We still charge more to do black paint jobs though because the prep work and finishing techniques to make black look flawless is insane. I almost never took these jobs for that reason when I did this line of work.

I recently swapped my build (R7 5800X 3D and 4080 FE) from a Magniumgear NeoQube 2 to this case. I’m using 3 bottom fans as intake, 360mm kraken aio with tubes down on the side with 6 fans in push pull config intaking air and the 2 rear exhaust. Temps are literally the same as the previous case: around 55C cpu and 62C gpu in gaming session Got fans fixed at 850 rpms on bottom, 1080 on aio and 800 on exhaust

Since you have 9 total intake fans and 2 exhaust, I’d recommend bumping up the exhaust and lowering the intake fans rpm. See if that’ll help get rid of the heat faster

@@dsamat .. Playing CoD (3440x1440 highest details) with a 360 AIO the CPU runs at 70°-74° C and the GPU 60°-65° C and between matches both are under 45° C.

Top glass makes it the case looks odd.. you can see all the cabling. It just like Japanese sports cars from the 90s.. from the rear you can see all of their piping etc etc..

Depends on your setup. I'm using a mid tier 5800x3d and 7900xt setup with a 240 AIO exausting to the rear with the other 6 as intake. I've never hit above 65c on CPU or GPU with all day long gaming sessions playing Cyberpunk maxed out at 1440p. It runs cooler than the Meshify C I came from and looks a ton better.

@@rider6992 I really like my Vision, but I don't think the King 95 looks bad at al. I know it has some QC issues, but I think it's a good looking case and the curved glass is a slightly different take on the fish tank design

Thank you for your kind and thoughtful comment, @NightHunter1241. You should definitely make a second channel if you want to! What content would you cover on your new channel? As for what we do with our finished builds, most of them are commissioned so we already have clients for each PC before we start filming

@@archetype_origins oh okay thanks , now I am planning for my second channel to make movies and after 2 years maybe , when I have some money I will start with this content, I have a question, why when I am building my second channel, and I want to upload a movie with full movie I mean 2 hours or 1 hours or a normal video 2 minutes they told me to enter my number, and I do it but they told me , this number have another channel or this number is used, but I add my number on my second email , channel. I tried to add my brother’s number and it’s work for 10 minutes maybe because I want to add my brother’s number on my account , who I am using it for the second channel?
