Thank you so much Josh, that's really appreciated! 👍🏼
Wonderful work captain , please do more Airbus vids , thank you very much
Very informative, as always! I generally have the bad habit of just ignoring any FMS messages relating to VNAV, especially because I have a slight distrust of it after the 737 made me approach KLAS at nearly 180kts and forcing me to go around. Still though, will definitely use these tips in the future!
I had this pop up on me the other day on the fenix and just winged it. Seemed to descend just fine haha!
I love this videos because I need to apply this a lot sometimes and ii didnt know how but now i can, thank you a lot
Somehow you come out with videos just when I need them. Last two flights had this and no idea what to do. Thanks
I got this steep yesterday while flying 737 and need spoilers on.
Really enjoying your recent “short” tutorial lessons.

Thank you!
In flybywire A320 we dont get path too steep msg instead our path becomes haywire. Anyway what i always do early when using FBW is the same decrease speed but way down so i can engage flaps at the same time hit expedite.
Everytime you surprise us with this videos that help us a lot to understand key issues that we, flight simmers, face daily. Thanks a lot!!!!
another great topic.. IRL I think you wouldnt hafta worry about all this as much as we do in the SIM because real world ATC is probably going to give more explicit altitude and speed restrictions. In the sim, even in vatsim for the most part we are just following the star or app. So we hafta improvise a lot and i'm good at this with the boeing, but im glad you showed us in the airbus.

Oh actually these things do happen in real life as well. It's just not noticed as much since pilots in the real world generally don't rely on the automation to do everything correctly as much as they do in the sim. Automation misbehaves? Fine, go on an do it yourself. Not even worth mentioning.

@737NGDriver yea I kinda figured that. Also I'm sure it helps that the pilots are accustomed to flying in and out of the same airspace often.
Einer der Kanäle wo ich noch was lernen kann! Danke dafür!

Freut mich sehr! Vielen Dank auch für die Unterstützung! 👍🏼
How much v/s needed for aircraft to conclude it's a too steap path?
Why when Ive gone to open the discord it says “address js invalid”? Ive tried off and on over months, but even though it shows the invite, it has always failed to open
And you managed the steep path even with a weight above MLW. Nice job!

MLW is 66t, we're at 65.7 here. Not sure what you mean.
Which A330 is this? I mean LatinVFR?
I used to fly the A320 5 years ago, so i can‘t remember exactly… at around 3:30 in the video airspeed is at 240kts with a vertical spped of 2000fpm… isn’t that way too much for a clean descent?
@A330Driver

Yes it is way too much. The Fenix drag model in descent is still way off the real plane.
Which Airbus add on are you flying?

This one is the Fenix A320.
Clumsy system. it should handle all that automatically. If flaps are risky then it could do small turns.

Yes and no. A pilot should still be able to manage the energylevel of the airplane on his own. And in reality you do not always just fly the official procedure, you also have to improvise. For example approaches into EDDL/Düsseldorf, where you can expect to be kept high and fast. Then its your turn to kill all your energy for the approach, when ATC asks you on downwind „are you ready for inbound?“ (15 trackmiles, 8000ft).

@@Freedomlow I would like to see ATC automated as well as fully capable autopilot able to carry out ATC's demands. With computer ATC there presumably will be far less holding patterns and odd ball approaches. I'd like to see all planes go straight in. Anything else is irrational. All routes should be direct.
