Hi Giannis! Really hope we can make it to Rhodes in September if restrictions are lifted. Question for you: is RWY 05 ever used? I dont think I've ever seen it used. Always seems to be 25.

You are confused somehow.. The runways directions are 25/07 or 24/06. It depends on the relative position of magnetic north but this is where it ranges. It was 25/07 for over 20 years and it changed in 2019, so for the next 15-20 years it will be 24/06. Runway 06 is also used. I have landed there many times.. Hope it helps..

Yes it is used. I have landed many times from 06, with both Olympic and Aegean.

Ερωτηση: πως μπορεις να μεινεις στο cockpit σε ολη την πτηση αν δεν εισαι πιλοτος?

Αν είσαι πιλότος επίσης, αν είναι γνωστοί σου το πλήρωμα, σε τέτοιες περιπτώσεις. Αλλά τώρα με τον κορωνοϊό (τέλος πάντων, μας έχουν πρήξει) δεν αφήνουν κανέναν. Social distancing, οπότε και οι δύο πολλοί είναι.

@@theplanesnet ασχετα με τον κορονοιο, δηλαδη πριν την ολη κατασταση, αν ρωτουσες αν μπορουσες να μεινεις εκει την ωρα της πτηση μαλλον θα ελεγαν οχι?

Αν δεν έχεις σχέση με την αεροπορία ή δεν είναι γνωστοί σου οι πιλότοι, πολύ δύσκολα μένεις μέσα.

@@theplanesnet Τον Ιανουαριο που εκανα την τελευταια μου πτηση μπηκα στο cockpit πριν την πτηση και επιασα την κουβεντα με τους πιλοτους οι οποιοι ηταν απο την περιοχη μου και οι δυο, μιλησαμε σχετικα με το πως να γινω πιλοτος κτλ (πιλοτος θελω να γινω) αλλα δεν τους ρωτησα αν μπορω να μεινω, κακος!

@@jimchronakis1744 Το έκανα εγώ αυτό. Τους έπιασα τη συζήτηση και τα σχετικά, και μετά ρώτησα να μείνω μέσα. (Μου είπαν πως δε γίνεται και βγήκα). Πριν το κορωνοϊό κιόλας. Είναι μεγάλο ρίσκο αν δε σε ξέρουν.
