Airbnb Tour | Last Day in Sofia, Bulgaria 🇧🇬
I spent a lovely couple days in Sofia, Bulgaria but now it's time to return to Istanbul, Turkey (where I'm currently based out of). In this video I share my breakfast experience, my Airbnb, and my journey through Sofia's airport to the crowded streets of Istanbul. I ran into problems but it isn't where you would expect it to be.

I am proud of being Bulgarian and I'm thankful you like it!
First :)
I fly in and out of Sofia airport in July/August and I had the same experience. My dad told me they didn’t lay off pretty much anyone during covid so they didn’t have the same issues as the other airports in Europe. It’s a small one so I guess this wasn’t an option for the bigger airports.

Well that's good that didn't lay anyone off. It makes sense then that it was functioning as normal. Sofia airport for me is pretty great. It may be small but it has the necessities and it's easy to travel through. Thanks for watching!
Loved the air bnb, the price was right. Only downfall I see is the 5 flights of stairs. Stay safe!!

Yeah to be fair it's pretty average. I actually like Shumensko better but it seems Kamenitza is the most famous. I'm actually already back in Bulgaria, More videos coming! Thanks for watching!

Do you plan on visiting other cities in Bulgaria? Plovdiv, Varna, Rousse, Bourgas? Nice video. I hope you had a good time in Istanbul, too.

Great!! I will likely post on Instagram when I'm back in Bulgaria)
As a person who will travel from Turkey to Sofia in November, I am trying to choose between hotel and airbnb. I am mostly concerned about the safety of my belongings and I'm not sure about the availability of a heater in the apartments. Would you give any recommendations? Maybe you can tell me which neighborhoods to stay away from when looking for an airbnb? We'll be 4 people, all separate beds btw. Also, great video, very informative. Thanks for posting it :)

Hey! Well I looked quickly on Airbnb and there are a couple nice options for relatively good prices (assuming you're splitting the cost) but hotels are always an option though. With regard to the safety of your belongings, If you choose an Airbnb just be sure to read the reviews for the place, that's usually how I'm choosing a place. I would try to stay close to the center, Sofia is a small city and mostly walkable (I never used public transport) and taxi's are relatively cheap. Uber didn't work for me there though. Sofia seemed very safe to me, never felt any bad vibes and I didn't find any neighborhoods that I think were bad. Enjoy Sofia! Bulgaria is awesome!
