AirAsia Airbus A320 Thunderstorm After Takeoff @ KLIA

My flight took off and have to fight through a really big CB just shortly after take off.
This is my video recording from the takeoff run till the moment we exit the CB. A lot of shaking and some free-fallings !
Flight: AK524 KUL-SGN
Plane: Airbus A320-216 9M-AJG
Camera: iPhone 6s, mounting on the airplane window.

Sometimes i would love to be seated on the air to see aircrafts flying out of a cloud
The pilot did well on flying that aircraft through the thunderstorm

what came to my mind immediately was airasia flight 8501
I noticed the flaps were extended for much longer than normal for an A320. Perhaps to increase the climb rate possibly to get above some weather?

Sure do, not the worst experience I had but there are a lot of turbulence !
You mean a thunder storm is not dangerous to fly through?

I did not say that. Flying through a thunder storm is pretty dangerous so that's why most pilots want to avoid them.

It's too dark so this is the best thing I could do with my iPhone 6s
