It's 2023 right now. I've listened to Leigh Nash all my life and loved her work. Soon, I will be dead, so will Leigh. Sad, but time gets us all in the end. I hope future listeners appreciate how good she was and can continue to listen to her body of work. It was a privilege being here during her time.

This song reminds me that time runs inexorably and that I once was an innocent boy with thousands of dreams which eventually faded away in the darkness of the cold reality like sand in hands. This song is so beautiful it surpasses the genre sound of the 90s and is just universally beautiful. It is as relevant now as it was when it was made.

Christians can create music that doesn't directly speak of God. Just the fact that someone is willing to get out there and be in mainstream music and spread the word of God is brave and I think they have so much heart in doing so. We should all be just as willing to do so. Thank God for Leigh Nash and her boldness to stand up for her faith.
