My mercedes s430 had the worn piston ring and it eventually burned the motor since some models of this compressor didn't have temperature gauge

Hi Bjarne,after replacing my air compressor on Jeep Grand Cherokee WK2,I have vibration and loud noise,is that installation foult or something wrong with compressor ?

Hi. Why did you replace the Piston ? It is necessary ? Many kits only sells the piston ring but the piston is not a common thing.

Thanks For Sharing this, I've recently had to replace my Air Suspension Pump, the old one was very rusted and Corroded from our Cold Northern Canada Winter, New Pump is a Month Old and Has Failed I Know RIGHT!!, Its Banging and Rattling. Appears the New Pump was a Refurbished One. Ive Taken the Old One that I Kept when I Swapped them Out and have Ordered Two Sets of Parts to Rebuild Both Compressors. I noticed the Air Line Adapter You Made and it has Inspired Me to Make One As Well. Thanks So Much For this Video! #777Slots

I know the post is old, but i live in the Seattle area and we see a lot of bad weather too. I found that installing a water separator/dryer inline and prior to the air intake reduces moisture getting into the system and prolongs the compressor life.

@@20tea interesting. I’ll Definitely Add One to the system. The air system is Operational , however; I don’t get the reading on the dash for height nor can I lock the air ride in a specific height. So I’ll be revisiting the air pump as soon as Riding Weather is Back here in Toronto.. and I’ll be Sure to Add a Separator / Filter, thanks for the advice. FYI on my other channel I just did the intake walnut blasting and the figure 8 gasket if your interested
