The Greatest song put together for a movie.

I haven't felt the deep passion since the 80s .... I often think of the girl I fell in love with in junior high!!! The lust , passion, feelings I felt back then could've taken us over the moon and back .... And the cards I'd read at the grocery store isle ....took the words right out my thoughts !!

I remember hearing this song as a kid and thinking it was this beautiful romantic song about someone who broke up with his girlfriend (or divorced his wife, or whatever) and then eventually he realizes that he still loves her and comes back to her. But now, I suddenly realized that it’s actually a very sad song. She actually broke his heart, not the other way around; and even though time has passed, he still has feelings for her despite doing everything he can to get over her. He’s not saying to her, “Here I am! Let’s get back together!” He is saying to himself, “Here I go again, still thinking about my ex even though I should be over her by now.”

Air Supply has been my favorite band since I was 13 years old I went to my first Air Supply concert at the Front Row Theatre on June 26 1983 . Then I saw them at the Front Row Theatre on July 21, 1992. Then last year at the Rocksino on September 17 2016 two days after my 48 th birthday I also met Air Supply in person during the meet and greet . Then they signed my anniversary book and I took pictures w Air Supply !!!!!!

I remember my first concert of Air Supply in Cleveland, Oh at the front row theatre on May 19, 1985. Got Russell Hitchcock's signature and he was eating a sandwich but he took time out to sign a autograph for a 15 year old girl so in Love with Russell Hitchcock and still am today. Then in 1989 I think they played at the playhouse square in Cleveland and I shook hands with Russell and Graham and swore I would never wash my hand again but of course I did. But it was very memorable.i still have the ticket stubs, and autograph to this day I will always cherish it.

Just saw them for the first time 3/15/24 and they were absolutely amazing! ❤ Transported me right back to my high school years (80-84) They literally sounded just like they did back then! Can't wait to see them again and see this next year!

I saw Air Supply at Market Square Arena, Indianapolis in 1975. I saw them again at King's Island Senior Night in May of 1975. They were wonderful each time!

I swear this is true. I was bawling when I played the cassette of this song back in November of 81. My girlfrienf, my first love had just left me. My sister whom I was unaware of in the house heard me and she told me years later that she gave my ex a call to plea on my behalf. My ex said she will think about it. She got married within a year. We reconnected on facebook 30 years later and she told me her marriage was a failure. But she had no regrets. She untied the knot that had gripped my soul for so long by what she said. What is not yours is all fated.
