Yea a whole suite of visual tools would be nice- stereo imaging, LUFs meter, frequency spectrum analyzer. It would be nice to get closer to a finished track in the box- without needing a daw to polish it up before sharing.

@@benjafarber1793 right . I usually export to audio, arrange, & mix in fl studio. Just because I’m use to the tools and mixer inside of that daw. When mixing inside the MPC I couldn’t recreate the same quality mix. That’s just my inexperience tho with mixing inside the MPC.

There is Diode Clip, Air Distortion, and Drm FX has a soft and hard clipper. This has a beautiful UI but how does it differ from other the effects mentioned?

I cannot find my clip. Its downloaded and active. Can someone please advise?,

I just bought this WHY CANT I FIND IT IN MY STANDALONE UNIT ?!?!?!?! Im signed into my inmusic profile yet I cant find this soft clipper THAT I JUST PAID FOR anywhere in here , its not in activations or in my inserts ANYWHERE

@andrex8003 yeah , I had to put my mpc in controller mode , then back to standalone 🤷🏾

Sorry to hear. Here are a couple of things to try. Log in/out of your user account. Toggle between stand alone and controller mode. Also make sure you're on the latest 2.14 firmware and connected to the internet. If those don't reset, reach out to support here: support.akaipro.com/en/support/tickets/new

Can we get this (and a hard clipper) for MPC standalone please? Ive been looking for good clippers since soundspot went out of business and I cant use NEVO andmore 😂

@johnny_blz valid points.. without going too deep. Let's be honest here. Akai has giving so many updates it ain't even funny. I mpclive mk1 and I can still get new stuff for it. As a korg kronos owner. Korg has giving little to no to no updates. They discontinued it to sell you another keyboard is pretty much the same with less controls. A ton of different paint jobs and call it limited edition. No akai is not perfect but as far as updates. Waaaaaaaay better then korg. For me personally though my studio is stacked I don't really need the MPC to do more than what is already doing. At this point anything they add is a bonus

I Can i use fl to i have major placement on both. Mpc hits very harder than fl. I dont Care about workflow 🤷

Dear AkaiPro! we love our MPCs, but we have long waited for a proper mixer, proper fx channel and proper flexible busses, today we cant even name them. We dont need more "fx" and "vsts" in standalone, its at least not crucial. But we really need flexible mixer and busses and an even more refined auto-sampler. Focus on the core funtionality and then maybe all those "goodies" and extras. Cheers

I could’ve told you it would take time to implement in the hardware. It’s not trivial. And no, companies’ goal in life is to make money in the process of providing a product or service for its clients and customers. Its mission isn’t to “care” about you. Their mission to provide value to those who own it. That being said, most people have the same goal in their personal lives.
