From what I've heard you either need to work for the airline, be a family member of someone in the flightdeck or a very well known friend of someone on the flightdeck. Don't quote me on that though

Lovely landing. Great footage. Is only the captain allowed to do the landing Rotorua? Is it to do with the approach?

Thankyou! So they share the duties, for example on the way back to Auckland the First Officer does the takeoff and landing
Nice visual approach however a Flaps 35 landing on a nice long paved runway? I believe a Flaps 15 Landing would suffice... Anyway, love the video. Come fly in PNG and you will see what I meant.... Cheers!!!

Im not the pilot, but I believe they do it sometimes just to keep in practice as not many runways in nz need flaps 35 in the dash
