I want I want to say I do love your videos and I love how you and your wife does play off each other really well but the problem that I had with your video today is how you keep on making this as a basketball shoe the Jordan 9 was originally a baseball shoe that's why they are made like that they're not really white they have thicker material just like a baseball shoe I'm waiting for your response let me know what you think about this

@@food4thought882 That was discussed in the review, but we removed it to save on time. Perhaps we'll see it on the cutting room floor. However, you're unfortunately incorrect. The Air Jordan 9 was a basketball shoe that was converted into a baseball cleat for MJ during his time playing baseball. Tinker has gone on record stating that he never stopped making/designing the annual Air Jordan, even after MJ retired. The 9 was designed for his upcoming season when he abruptly retired. The 10 was designed as a tribute shoe (still performance basketball shoe) while the 11 was never supposed to happen, but Tinker started on them anyway. The design process for these shoes begin years prior to its release. The 9 design process started in late 1992/early 1993.

I never had any 9s until I was stationed in GA in 2010 back in the Army. They are basically the same color way minus the blue for yellow. I loved the Citrus 9s and still have them to this day

I had the citrus colorway back in the day and yeah, I agree, the 9s are straight boots. Also, yes, replace the 9 with the 2.

I love 9’s! I had a pair of Retros in the blue color way and right now have a pair of the boots in the wheat brown color for work.

I wasn’t always a fan of the 9s, but they’ve definitely grown on me over the years. The 2s are still growing on me. There are only a handful of colorways I like from the 2. But yeah maybe if they released more 2s, it would give them a chance to flourish and be liked by newer sneaker heads, because a lot of people don’t even talk about the 2s. I would love to see Jordan Brand hit the 2's with solid love and give us a premium material OG set kind of giving an homage to the roots of the 2's with the whole,"Made in Italy" thing. Super slept on model and one of my favorites. Loved in the early-mid 00's when they had Melo really pushing the model. The low tops from 05' in that white/navy color were always one of my favorites.

You're right about that Chris.I remember walking in downtown Raleigh North Carolina with my family on vacation wearing the same exact model of the 9's Racer Blue and my pinky toes were killing me!lol.I don't know what it is with the 9's. I kind of have the same issues with the 2's at times. But the 2's are easier to break in than the 9's.After a while,the 2's become so much more comfortable.I have a pair of the 87 Alternate 2's by the way and they are 🔥.

I do love 9s and 2s . The 2s are always overlooked by the brand. I'd like to see them split the difference and make both models with upscaled materials. Also Tooo Funny seeing you guys crack up lol!

They can replace them on two conditions- they don't butcher the two and they release the Carolina blue og joints before replacement.

I’m probably in the minority but the 9 is probably my favorite Jordan. I have a very slim feet so they fit me very well, plus I grew up loving baseball and these remind me of a baseball cleat.

1's, 4's, 7's, 9's, and 11's are my favorite jordans even tho I get tired of seeing 11's and 12's release every other day but the 15's are lowkey growing on me

i feel the love in the end part of the video! :) with regards to jordan brand releases, their release pattern is all over the place. but that randomness is good somewhat. 2019 was year of the 4s, but they still managed to release infra 6s, seattle 10s and random colored iterations of the legacy products. I do understand now the no love for the 2s though. :D

I think they should release the Sprewell PE, with #15 on the back.

You call the 9's the real Space Jams all the time. I know they released that OG colorway under "Space Jam" nickname, but still, I think someone at Nike is listening to you man. 😂

I see all black reflective. Nice shoes, the 9s looks good, though they are just a bit too narrow for me.

They need to come out with the 16s and 17s outside spécial packs and just sold individually... The 2s are one of the most comfortable jordans if the soft leather is used Ike the black n red joints

i don't mind they are releasing nine over twos, especially in this type of colorway. Black, white and red/blue/grey always works. But I wish they would release more lows if they are just using leftovers.

I like the og white black ( space jam ) colour but never managed to get and not buy resale 1 for the price and 2 lots of fakes of that shoe that are very close to the real thing. Also I never seem to be able to find the 9s for sale in the UK 🇬🇧 ( don't think we got the red or blue latest ones over here ) don't remember seeing them on Nike UK site or a footlocker etc

I would like to see the 2's back in remastered format...its a very sleek shoes....sleeker than the 9. People forget.. the 2's were the shoe Jordan wore when he won his first slamdunk trophy...and averaged 37.1 pts.

I bought a pair of used UNC 2 lows, and they were surprisingly super comfortable. They were way more comfortable than the 2 pairs of 1 lows I own. I wish that they would release the low tops once every year or every 2 or 3 years. But, the $160 price tag is pretty steep for lows. Maybe $140 for what they charged for 1 Low OG Premiums could work. Maybe the only thing that could make the 2 popular is a collab, sadly.
