I can almost bet that those fake pair you had were the first batch of originals .....nike makes them and doesn't ship them out ad china keeps those and sells them...pretty much like a sample because most fake pairs never have a production date tag that is identical to the original its usually a ironed on version its never....either on the side of the shoe or the tongue....nike has production before production meaning those aren't authorized to be sold at your authorized retailers ...I'm telling you those look way too good to be fake...most the time even the shoe inserts are Jordan logos ad not Nike Air logos and even sometimes a fake shoe would feel a size down they never feel like a true shoe size....I know this was 2yrs ago but im looking at this because I just bought my second pair thru eBay authentic guaranteed ....

This shoe was a major GR so there are a good bit of production dates as long as it starts August-September and ends in November-December you should be good

I’ve seen many “authentic” production dates so I don’t think that’s a good indicator.

In my opinion going by the box, label, tissue paper, hang tag etc is useless. They can simply put a fake pair in a legit box.

Got 2 pairs from Nike 2 pairs from Eastbay and 1 pair from footaction. The production dates are different on two of them.. so I wouldn’t count that as a legit check... mine all say LN3 on the tag label as well.. why does your real pair say LNM? And last but not least I don’t think the box size label matters in alignment to the logos on the bottom of the box. They are all not the same on mine and they all came from the manufacturers as well.

The jumpman logo is on the opposite side of the label of the box like you pointed out, but the lettering on the boxes are the same and the tops are both the same size. I cant tell if they are reps or the finishline batch came slightly varied.

If you take out the insole, underneath should not be red.

From what I know, Flight Club doesn't sell fakes. So that might not be a good way to tell anymore.

SoleSurvivor23 Do the boxes you got from eBay have a sticker on the side of the box lid? If the sticker doesn’t have the acronym for a sneaker retailer like Foot Action, Foot Locker, Finish Line, Champs Sports, Jimmy Jazz, etc. they might not be legit.

LN4 is just a production line from the factory. Same with LN3. Those letterings wont make or break it in terms of legit or fake. I have two pairs bought from Champs. One has LN3 and the other has LN4 with different production dates to boot.

In the video the REAL one has LNM. I have two pairs. One has LN3 and the other has LN4 bought both from Champs on release day. My friend who works at Champs was getting calls that their shoes were fake even though they bought it from the store just because someone on KZread had said LN4 was fake. Nah I think you tweaking you focused on the wrong things, the jump man stitching says it all with the leather etc

Just word of advice. Your so called “Sneaker Head friends” don’t have a cousin that works in the nike factory or they don’t have a plug. Their plug is UA’s.

For your next video, please use a camera stand that makes even more noise. Hearing the creaking and cracking through the video was very pleasant.

Sorry about that. I was still in college when I made this video, camera lenses aren't cheap.

@@HeyOzzy24 sorry, i didnt mean to come off like a dick. Its just that I was buying a pair and really wanted to see all the details of the shoes and the sound was driving me crazy.

Both are made by Nike. No way some random factory in Vietnam or China has access to the materials and the shoe schema necessary to make these. IDK

Pull them out by the corners. Jordan insoles are stitched in and have a little glue on them

HeyOzzy! Oh cool thanks I thought they were fake because they were harder to get out. My unc3 insoles came out real easy

The bottom of my shoes is Jordan still in my key is it fake

Yes, that’s normal for grade school sizes.
