Honestly the leather upper makes these gratitudes better for me.I’m always worried about the white getting stained if something spilled like an alcoholic drink 😂 These new ones will be more carefree,definitely doubling up

@@andrewcastillo3093 oh I definitely waterproof all my sneakers,just like that it has a leather upper now so I don’t have to worry about white material on past releases as much.These you can wipe down and throw new laces on if they get dirty

These Gratitudes were executed so well! Concord is one of my favorite pairs of all time but the addition of leather takes these to another level. It’ll be way easier to maintain as time passes

The leather upper on the gratitude joints definitely made me think of the 72 -10s along with the milky outsole. Im not mad at it all all though bc my 72 - 10s outsole has aged pretty well.

my only jordans growing up were a pair of Jordan 6 olympics I only ever wanted Vans and Converse growing up, but those jordan 6's i got to match my older cousin cause he had them and i loved em alot. But in 2020 i started getting into shoe collecting and jordans, my first time I ever really started to care. I got mostly Jordan 1s and 6s but now that i'm getting more into the other shoes, these 11s woulda been so awesome to have. Infact I remember kids wearing the 11s as a kid! I wish I was more hip back then fr 😭

Growing up I always wanted a pair of concord but then I found out about the dmp( concord with the gold logo) and I instantly fell in love. So happy that Jordan brand repressed the gratitudes. I copped 2 pairs😊

the Jordan 11s concord from 2018 that was a 🔥💯 pair back then even tho I have it , I still will love to get my hands on the gratitude for sure .

Gratitudes def the move imo, better quality leather and better fit. I remember the Defining moments, I lined up in queens nyc and a huge brawl broke out with police and they threw chairs through the doors at the mall, basically ruining the chance for any of us that lined up to get any pairs. What a throwback lol

Bro honestly with the leather upper and gold hits, I think I might be leaning toward the gratitudes. I have so much respect and love for the concord, but if the gratitudes had the ice bottoms, I don't think it would be close.

Dj to be honest bro I love more the Jordan 11 gratitude in 2023 better then the old pair from 2006 💯💯👌🏼 I just think that they even look way so better and good looking and also fresh .

Most people just want to like something that is no longer available more. Bottom line is Gratitude will last much longer. No way in hell should people have wanted mesh again. That mesh turns yellow and it’s over.

I have gratitudes and concords. Love em both. Picked up a pair of gammas too and some 2012 bred 11s (carbon fiber looks so much better on 2012s).

This is what a retro should be. An elevation (where possible) of the original model. I need two pairs minimum!!

Was so happy to cop a pair on my first ever Nike SNKRS shock drop W. I have the 2016 playoff 11's (space jam's) 2018 Concords and 2019 Breds so adding these were a must. Was surprised that they didn't come with plastic shoe trees since Nike raised their prices. Great video and review!👍

In my opinion Gratitude is like the improved version of the concords, compared the mesh to the leather or the gratitude, they are both nice bit materials use separate them 👍

How does it fit? Is it tight at toe box like Jubilees?

I never liked the white mesh on the 11's. The leather on the gratitudes is how they've should've been originally. The mesh is cheap looking. The leather makes them a better quality sneaker overall

I am happy I hit the exclusive because now I can possibly Un DS my Concord or maybe not let’s see if I can double up on the Gratitudes 🤷🏾‍♂️

Concords and DMPs look beautiful and get the history but honestly I feel like the Gratitudes look better. That being said yes I have only started to get into collecting over the last couple of years.

The mesh looks way better on the low-cut patent leather, but the leather on graditude and Swede cool grays that came out recently 2022 look good on the high cut pan leather that’s why I don’t have any other mesh high cut pan leather Jordan 11s only the old ones

Mine came a couple of days ago. They’re really nice in person. 2nd time getting EA this month on the same account

I prefer the gratitude 11 Koz of that leather upper will keep your foot warm if you live in 4 season weather like what we have here in Canada.

I have both. And I love the concords. I had the OG pair back in 95, I was young wore them to death. had every version of retro concords since. Personally concords are special to me got so many stories and memories of that shoe. I coped the 2018 Concords, Because it is my only wearable pair, I would only wear them when I know the weather is perfect or when I know I going somewhere indoors and clean. Since I coped them I honestly say i only wore them 4 times because I am always stressed about staining them nylon uppers.... since they announced the Gratitude and i saw it had all leather upper it was an instant cop for me. I have since put my concords back in the box and these gratitude is going to be in my regular rotation simply because they are all leather easy to keep clean.

Leather upper no mesh gotta love it

Of all my kicks the concords are my fav. I personally wear gold (yellow) and not silver or white gold so the gold touches on the concord making dmps just give that extra umph to the fit when I go to events. Dmps look more premium but then concords are just classic man! Can’t go wrong with either if you had to have one. But now I can’t beat my concords as my fav and have something similar fresh with the dmps

People just caught up on DMP packaging. Let’s face it you can’t wear the box or the book

For me, I like the icy bottoms better …. But… after a few wears they don’t look as good. I like how these are already yellowish so they won’t look as worn going forward. That’s my issue with most 11s. I don’t wear them often so expect them to look brand new always. I hate yellowing. I keep them in the box and everything. I have some infrared 6s that I won’t wear because I don’t want them to yellow lol.

I noticed the gratitudes laces have a slight gold tint to them.

I understand the history with the og dmp 11s, BUT the gratitude 11s I feel are a better materialed overall shoe

I just started collecting this year and the concords are one of my grails. It’s the og but I’m lucky I hit on the Gratitude it is my “concord” of my collection. Love my new 11s but Concords are the grail sneaker.

I only mess with and have the OG color ways of the 11s/the color ways that Mike wore on court. I got rid of all my 11s except for the Concord, Bred, Space Jams and Cool Grey. Hoping to see another Columbia 11 release with that OG treatment.

Imagine if they release the DMP and Gratitude at same time same box etc. I think the people will choose the gratitude more the advantage of DMP is the packaging and the story imo

Definitely like these... We had over a 100 pairs at the JD I'm at.. But I still think they are overpriced. They shouldn't be more than $200+tax. With tax they come nearly to $250 that's insane.

Love the Gratitudes over the DMP and the Concords. They look better in my opinion with the leather uppers. Can wait for mine to be shipped from Footlocker

Even if they did come with the DMP 11s again, they would have been a high cut im pretty sure, so not the same. I prefer the high cut myself.

Your pair is the first pair that I’ve seen in the Midnight Navy 3’s with the thicker lines in the elephant print. All the ones I’ve seen in stores and online have the really thin lines. Both of my pairs that’s I picked up have the thinner lines which I like the thicker lines in your pair much better.

They finally want to be "thankful"; now that they are realizing New Balance is taking over the game! 😂 But on a serious note, you're right I just started collecting sneakers a year ago. Believe it or not, I was at a Goodwill. Found 2 J 1s a high top , and a mid. And I chose the mid not having experience 😂 The way I see it is, I have to be realistic as to how much I'm going to spend on a shoe. Also it HAS to be comfortable, and J11s are one of the most comfortable. Being that I don't have the 2018 pair of Concords. The most obvious decision to make it to go for the new gratitude pair for HALF the price of the 2018 pair. Also, the leather upper is just so much better IMO; might even make them comfier.

My local store still has these.

The upper leather on the Gratitude makes it better for me.

DMPs or Graditudes > Concords. DMPs - senior year in HS, 18th birthday, 8 hour camp out.. *sighs* these are better though. Just prefer the leather. Double up no brainer. Passed on 2018 concords bc of the 45. I’ll wait for the 23 on the back 🤷‍♂️

New collector or old collector, the 2023 joints just look better period bruh! The upper leather, milky bottom, so much more premium.

dun like the 2006 DMP with low cut patent leather. OG 11s had high cut so im going with 2023.

The leather upper is the best than the nylon. Nylon gets yellowish in time.

It’s like wearing two 2 bricks, when will they redesign it into lighter sneakers with better cushion?

Both are nice, but gimme Concord 11s. Those are what the GOAT wore when playing. Those have more nostalgia to me. I’ll still grab a pair of gratitudes though.

The gratitudes are a better shoe. The DMPs more nostalgic. The DMPs don't have as much attention to detail. The sneaker cut was a lazy attempt, it started the low cut patent leather on 11s. It had the jumpman issue. The materials on the DMPs aren't great. But the DMPs are the DMPs. That packaging is top 5 maybe 2 of all time.

You also gotta remember designer and the team didn't know nearly as much as they do in current time. Also there weren't "packs" or collabs that were coming out to the public like there are in current time. Those waled so these could run.

The patent leather on the gratitudes blow in comparison to the Concords real thin, and will crease tremendous in time, unfortunately

Honestly the Gratitudes are killing the Concords IMO. The leather upper, gold hits and milky bottom gives it Royalty vibes and Championship feeling 👑🏆 even the DMP 11s are killing the Concords.

I'm waiting for the AJ XI White/Black concords. Hopefully they will drop in December of 2025 which will be the 30th anniversary.

If you like the OG you’ll go with the mesh. If your still a fas of jordan’s your gonna love them gratitude!!!!!

Resellers like the concords because of money you get for em these will surpass that over time you won’t see these gratitudes every 3/5 yrs retro-ed the concords you’ll see at least 4 more times in next 10yrs.

In my humble opinion the 11-12 bred/taxi pack is the best. I bought these shoes nonetheless 😂
