I love these compared to the concords. These are so easy to clean and you don’t have to worry about the mesh turning yellow.

I much prefer the ice but very good point these will age a lot better

The leather upper was a good switch from mesh since it’ll be a lot easier to clean. Great overall shoe!!

I originally preferred the translucent “icy” outsole but after doing some thinking, I don’t hate the milky concept because over time they won’t yellow and will look the same over time!

5:26 when you know someone doesn’t have that much style. Of course you can wear them with jeans.

Don't mind the creasing, you are supposed to enjoy them, wear it until it falls apart. They are not trophies to be locked in a cabinet.

The ppl that are saying the milky outsole/ leather upper is ugly keep that same energy on release day 😂

I'm a og at age 53 and my favorite Jordan's of all time are the 11's. I was really excited to get my first ever shock drop W so I'm looking forward to getting these into my collection. I still wear my 2018 concords and 2019 breds along with my 2016 space jam's all the time. Great video and review!

I was always terrified to wear my Concords because of the white mesh. Now these will get several wears because of the leather upper.

What’s funny is that the “Icey bottoms” were never that dark icey tint on originals or 01’ retros…so they aged to a nice lemonade color, in mid 2000’s soon as all clear bottom jays went super clear icey, they aged more brown looking then that nice yellow color. These new joints look better sike wise cuz they look like the OG’s once they aged into that nicer lemon looking bottom. Also, in recent years the chunkiness of 11s soles got skimmed and dumber down, these new 11s in this video bring back the thicker more chunky foot print looking sole like originals had. LOVE THIS TAKE of the AirJordan XI

The leather in the upper is way better than the mesh .... getting a stain on the mesh is close to impossible to get out

So glad I hit on these today. Concords are my favorite shoe of all time

Nothing worse than yellow mesh. These will stay lookin fresh much longer and the yellowing on the sole will compliment it for sure

Im glad i got them b4 they released. I wasn’t going to get them, but SEEING THEM IN PERSON???? MAN…….. store said it was the last pair, i said, “nahhh… yall sold out.”

It's now Sunday at noon. I went out and tried to cop a pair for a gift. Hit yesterday on SNKRS ... first ever hit on an OG (ish) Jordan. What I found ... a lot of resellers won the raffle and never picked them up because the resale prices didn't take off. So, in person at stores 24 hrs. after, they are still out there. Had the price gone crazy, people would have picked them up. In hand, these look a little like a Rings vs. an OG. Won't lie ... the mesh looks better but the leather will hold up better and stay cleaner.

I had the Dmp 11s when I was in 8th grade the mesh upper was so hard to keep clean. Those nylon loop holes were not the most durable either. The leather upper is going to be way easier to keep clean and the leather loop holes are a great upgrade.

This is how the Jordan 11 should looked like in the beginning with the leather upper instead of that ballistic mesh that looks very cheap and easily tear with tight lacing.

I haven't seen any Jordan 10 releases lately. I can't wait until the Double Nickel colorway comes out again (last time was in 2015)

I think that the thick rope laces are not the same white color as the upper material, is one of the subtle keys to the overall style of the shoe

Jordan Brand makes some head scratching decisions like these, JB should’ve stuck to the OG materials of the DMP 11 but instead we get the white version of the 72-10 11’s.

Don't own concords, so gonna go for this.

They are so nice. Very wearable compared to the cherry’s from last year.

I have Concords I don’t know if I should cop these they dope🔥but they just not a must have for me personally, I don’t know about these….I’ll probably get them eventually in the future, but this is not a must-have💯for me at the moment

The synthetic leather is definitely cheaper for them to buy in bulk than the ballistic mesh.

Glad i held off on the cherry 11s and jubilees. These were worth the wait

I’ll stick with the mesh uppers on the 11s. Really not drawn to these in comparison to the Win Like 82s, Concords or the DMPs which A: all of em have mesh uppers as this one should have had and B: I own all three of those colorways. I might buy these for my brother but definitely not for me

Nah, I think the leather on these are actually a nice change up. Every 11 doesn't always have to have mesh because the OG's do. It makes it different instead of the same damn shoe every time. Don't get me wrong, I love the OG's. But I also like to see something new too. I feel the same way about the leather on the upcoming Bred 4's, I like the difference. Of course I still got the 2019 pair deadstock, so it's all good if I get them. 😁

Tinker Hatfield created the shoe for on and off the court and to be able to wear it formally with a suite or tux. Put some Black Nike tech joggers or jogger shorts throw on a white tee or black tee. Throw on some blue light washed jeans and a white tee. Throw on some khaki pants and a white tee. Some black jeans on. Use your imagination and stop following what people say you can and cannot wear

Jordan 11s are the GOAT pair.

If you think the creasing is bad, the OG air Jordan xi were terrible...I mean TERRIBLE. I remember my dad bought me a pair for good grades and it was like $125 I believe in 1995 but after just a few steps the creasing looked my my grandma's hands. They've actually gotten better with the patent leather since the 2000 retros, when they redid the patent leather.

If your theory is true about them using leather instead of mesh because its cheaper then that's messed up since these shoes went up $5 in retail.
