I wore these out on the weekend for hours in continuous heavy rain (like flooded roads rain) and it stayed completely dry even walking through deep puddles. It's summer here and they didn't even get sweaty, so I'm super happy with them as a wet-weather shoe. they held out ok on slippery tiles too, which I've had problems with in AJ1s.

@@dietman I have narrow feet so I don't need them to, but based on my knowledge of gore-tex I would guess not much compared to plain leather Jordan 1s. The membrane is not stretchy at all and the whole shoe is lined with it.

Does the toe box make noise when walking in them? Like a farting sort of noise? Mine do

One of the best looking 1’s on feet. Idc what anybody says. The color blocking & the slightly oversized check POPS. My favorite 1 right now.

I don't normally wear AJ1s but these were a great pickup for me. I've been wearing it 90% of the time since the new year. Took some time to break in at the "snug" area, but it's a solid functional shoe for Canadians.

Copped the particle grey 1s on a restock. Initial release for both sold out faster than I thought. I dont see many people wearing them but I really like (and wear) mine. Great review fam.

Copped these on the restock too, they are sleepers for sure. My favorite AJ1s this year other than the patent breds which I struck out on.

Been wearing my pair close to every day since I bought them. Living in Minnesota and dealing with the weather often means sacrificing the ability to wear cool shoes for fear of messing them up, but I don't have to worry about that with these. These are REAL winterized Jordans, the only problem I had was a bit of fraying on the heel. Plus I got a small deal on them for a cherry on top. Banger shoe, banger review!

Easily my most worn shoe this winter. Hope they make more colorways !

I personally like the colors chosen for this pair and I don’t mind the color blocking. I believe if this exact color and blocking was released on an OG style J1 it would be an instant sellout. In contrast I didn’t like the colors of the black and green/blue gore text model that released along side this one

I'll definitely be going for the upcoming Light Curry colorway of these. They feel like a slightly more subdued Jordan 1 Pollen with Gore-Tex. Though I certainly understand anyones frustration with Nike often releasing their winter and Gore-Tex models in such light colors, it does seem a little counterintuitive at times, building something to withstand water but equally ready to take on dirt and grime.

This color way looks really clean for an all black outfit

This was a weird drop here in South America because it was right in the middle of summer (and thus, some sizes are still available for retail on Nike's website and sneaker boutiques). Either way I just copped a pair since summer is almost over, can't wait to wear these out on the rain!

Found the toebox super tight right where the end of the eyestays hit as well, but just flexed the shoe a bunch in hand and it seemed to soften it up and help out a bit before even wearing them around to break in on foot. So hoping it helps! I live in Nova Scotia, So we can go from -2C and snowing in the morning to +10 and sunny in the afternoon, so these will get their use. I got the Particle Grey and Green, love the look, so hope they break in well!

I wish Jordan brand would have made the traction of these a little more aggressive for the snow areas. Maybe like the traction on the Jordan 1 Low Golf shoes.

I got the other colorway of this J1 goretex. Yours was better though. I also bought it for its functionality.

These would be interesting with a Jordan Golf Sole

I like the other colorway 'Black Particle Grey' but didn't have the luck to get one at retail price :/

Wonder if they stack up in other seasons other than winter. Obviously not in summer, but wonder if they are wearable in terms of how they feel on your foot in the "not so cold, but definetly not hot" months of the year?

Anybody elses pair have excess material underneath the insoles? Both sides literally have like a bubble of air underneath the gore tex material that i can move, like its wavy. I agree more snug than normal even with a normal width foot
