AIR INDIA ONE Boeing 747 Takeoff at Melbourne Airport with President Ram Nath Kovind ONBOARD!

This week, the president of India, Ram Nath Kovind, has been visiting Australia, starting with Sydney on Wednesday morning and making his way down to Melbourne early Friday morning. Flying him around is no other than Air India's Boeing 747 flying under the callsign "Air India One".
Featured in this video is its departure off runway 27 to Singapore early yesterday morning, which I filmed enthusiastically. Also making an appearance is Air India's regular Boeing 787 Dreamliner service, which arrived shortly before the president departed.
Nothing captures the heart of a nation then seeing their national airline in action around the world. I hope my film can create a sense of pride for the wonderful people of India!

I saw this plane (VT-EVB) from up close at Mumbai airport in January as she was getting ready to depart for Jeddah via Hyderabad as AI966. I had just arrived from Hyderabad on another 747 (VT-ESP) operating as AI965.

@@souravbehera5875 yes I saw all 4 of them. VT-ESO and VT-EVA were parked near a remote hangar along with a few 777-300ERs. We arrived on VT-ESP and saw VT-EVB getting ready to depart. VT-ESO seems to have been completely inactive for quite some time now. VT-EVA was also inactive for a while but was put back into service while VT-EVB and VT-ESP made special charters to Wuhan.

There was no 777 in sight. The one that landed was 787. And the 747 was constantly there from the start.

Boeing 747 is a marvel. It is always amazing to see this plane take off. The A-380 may be bigger than this one but it doesn't bring the beauty this bird brings. Perhaps that's why they call it queen of the skies.
This beauty is at least 25 yrs old....very graceful..

OMG!!! I saw the President of India on Wednesday morning!!! I was with my family taking a photo shoot in the city and I heard sirens...*A LOT* of sirens. I looked out the window of the studio and saw many cars pass down through the street below me... What a sight I must say. Anyways, beautiful video! Liked!

You won't believe, Boeing 747 was earlier a failure when it was introduced as a frieght aircraft in the 1960s or so. Watch CAPTAIN JOE KZread channel. He is a 747 captain I guess.

Another great video of Air India One 747. :) Also Air India has been flying 787s to Melbourne and Sydney for 5 years and is still successful. When Jair Bolsonaro is inaugurated as Brazil’s 38th President in the new year he will soon visit Australia and that Spotting his presidential Aircraft in Melbourne and Sydney will be excellent. Although Bolsonaro hasn’t said it he’s keen on strengthening relations between Australia 🇦🇺 and Brazil 🇧🇷.

I know that the Airbus A 380 is now the largest commercial aircraft, but nothing will ever beat the appearance of the Boeing 747 Jumbo Jet. It looks classy, in comparison to the 380 which looks bulky and overweight.

These 747 s will be replaced officially by Boeing 777-300 ERs as The plane for the President and the Prime Minister of India. These 747s are regular commercial aircraft used by Air India for regular commercial services. The Government would lease it for a week or so or until the official journey is over. Once that it will be back in commercial operations. As time goes on maintaining these jumbos becoming more expensive, the government is now buying two B777-300ERs from Air India and converting and modifying them for the exclusive use of the President and PM of India. The Plane will be Taken care by Air India Engineering Department under the Supervision of the Indian Air Force. The plane will also have many safety features as those on board Air Force One. These Planes will not be used for Commercial Operations as the 747s, but only be exclusively for the Presidnet and The Prime Minister of India. The planes will enter service by the end of next year.
