@M -a it literally means call the driver of the vehicle........in this video driver is pilot and vehicle is aeroplane.......he should have actually said to call the pilot of the aeroplane but he stupidly said to call the driver of the vehicle to drive it...........did u laugh or did u get the joke?

These beggars shout at uniformed staff but not at the rickshawala who will not go by meter coz they are worth shit and can't do anything about it. They will shout at Airline staff but will not raise their voice while someone is being raped/molested/robbed. All hot air... Give em a free drink and an extra meal and they will shut up. All they want is free food and a little validation. Even beggars now their worth.

@@technicalmarvels1734 how is raped, getting robbed and molested related with this? in rickshaws, you hardly spend 100-200 bucks in a rickshaw and no one messes with them because they have a filthy uneducated union, which does not allow our standards to mess with them. Most of them have not took their studies seriously and had to drive rickshaws. These people are paying waaaaaay more money for the flights so either they can get back in time to meet their commitments. All of the passengers are very busy and value their time, and they know are being overcharged a hell lot and not getting the expected services they paid for. It's the reason they're arguing and asking for compensation at a Airport, which they won't do with a Rickshaw wala knowing the fact that the guy overworks and gets underpaid.

Captain = driver . Wow !!

First of all, they need to understand the diff between a captain and a domestic car or bus driver. Captains get 2-3 years of strict training costing around 110k dollars I.e. 90 lakhs INR and drivers just need a license. When people hear about the job driving, they’re like no way and all that whereas being a pilot is one of the most respected jobs out there and many people wish to become a pilot while they can’t because of insufficient funds. Even I’m a first officer and I understand the importance of delays and I agree it’s totally the airlines fault but as the guy said “call the captain”, it’s not the pilots fault and they’ll fly the plane as soon as they’re given commands to do the same and not hear to passengers about what they’re saying and what they want.

Even a 3 hour delay in Turkish airlines, they gave me a compensation of 300 Euros (24000), they served juice and snacks. A similar experience on-board klm. People outside India know how to treat paying customers. And who said that you don't get refreshments in 6 hour long flight? People outside India don't raise their voices because airlines ensure that with their service standard.

The issue with delayed flights on AI is well known for years and people still book AI and expect them to be on time.

It hurts me to see people calling a pilot, one of the most highly respected jobs in private sector a "driver". The person more qualification than anyone. The number of things a pilot has to handle simultaneously cannot be handled by the people whose only jobs is to degrade and insult other jobs. Mad Respect for Pilots who fly us safely to our destination Edit : I mean no disrespect to any profession here. I am just referring to the complexity of the job. Lot of replies below have taken me otherwise. No hard feelings for anyone. I respect all professions equally. You all have my respect.

If you fly Air India, you should be ready to accept these delays. When i fly always i see that those flights that were supposed to depart hours before my flight, are delayed 2 hours more than my flight time. So don't blame Air India, that is their operating style. +Mehul Jain Actually, this is what exactly the private and foreign carriers want.. They lobby the Indian government a lot to let Air India rot like this. Air India and Indian airlines were once a very well managed airline and known for its service. It was political interference (especially by then aviation minister Praful Patel) that resulted in Air India discontinuing many profitable routes for sake of Jet Airways and other foreign carriers like Emirates & Etihad... Also, the merger of AI & IA caused a lot of issues and resulted into an airline that was running in profit to go into thousands of crores of loss... It is no use shouting no such innocent small fishes whereas is the big fishes like the ministers who created this situation in the first place. The poor managers or the ground staff are helpless and just don't have any power. It is all political interference. The manager would lose his job if he acts against the orders from above!

The flight was scheduled at 2 and it took Air India an hour to rearrange the flight. The flight in that sense is just an hour late. The funny part is that the lady calls herself educated but shows it by demanding compensation for an hour late flight.

For this particular flight this is an everyday occurrence. It originates from Mumbai I regularly travel from Mumbai to Delhi . Each time it is delayed at Mumbai due to some VIP. However in most of the cases the delay is minimized by the time it reaches Delhi. Perhaps they need to reschedule the whole thing

First of all a pilot is not a driver. Secondly, Everyone supporting the airlines have no idea the feeling of getting one's entire schedule f****d up because of their very last minute changes. These airlines fly only if it is a profit to them and don't care about the customer. I once had a fight from Mangalore to Bombay (I had to meet my nephew and pick him up as there was an emergency) and then from Bombay to Goa. Though my latter flight with Vistara was in check my first flight from Mangalore to Bombay which was by Spicejet got cancelled. I got a message at about 3 a.m. and also 1 call from the company regarding the same. My flight was scheduled at 7ish in the morning and when I got up 5 I saw the message. I had to cancel my Vistara flight and book another flight, this time Air India which ended up costing us almost thrice the price. Since then I have gotten into the habit of taking a flight insurance. For a middle class person such untimely changes affects a lot. And the staff also give vague replies which actually gets one's blood boiling.

lol are you sure? They ask for accommodation , They have insurance every delayed flight will get you GBP 200 for a Passenger. So don't think They don't complain but yes They don't like this. Guys you all live/from NewYork why don't you pay extra to travel on a better airline? you booked on air india most probably its cheaper than other airline. now pay the penalty...

I am still not sure what passengers are angry for? Is it just due to delay OR they have not been informed about the delay? I have experienced delays several times. 2-3 hours delay is more than normal in US Domestic flights. I guess flight delays are normal elsewhere too.

4:11 this shows how educated our country is. The most respected job and tough job is PILOT and someone is saying 'dimag toh hoga captain ko?' and someone is saying 'driver hi toh hai pilot' this really shows who they are. There is one word in hindi 'AUKAAT' which means power and status, if they have why didn't drive the plane, driver hi toh hai na, just shame on u guys treating such respected person like this.

It's very painful to see people calling pilot "a driver". They don't know the hard work, and cost it takes to become a commercial pilot. They are just ridiculing the seriousness of pilot as a profession . I mean how the hell can they call a pilot like that? If the flight has got delayed due to any reason it's not pilot's fault, it's the airline company's fault.

People here should think who can provide them better policies by the ministry and also responsible for safety and answers to the people .

Problem with Air India is lack accountability in a bad situation. That bring out the worse in people. Flight is almost 3 hours late and they are not getting any answers. Anyone would be frustrated.

If you are illiterate you won't know what's going on and can be easily made a pawn by the airlines or anyone in the world for that matter. You can be lied to or cheated. This is common knowledge. That's what she's saying. That they can't be given the runaround - be fooled by false info - as they are educated and know what is going on. Don't be so easily offended.

You seem very ignorant, uneducated and exceptionally dumb to me. Do you even know how much it costs a person to get his/her CPL ? A captain pilot is a commander in charge so technically speaking, he has almost an equal rank of a magistrate. And secondly, they're highly educated and highly professional. And the fault of the company won't result in a pilot's compensation. And lastly, it's a pilot who's suffered the most from the delays than rather a bunch of hooligans. And actually, before choosing your flight , you should look up the company's reputation rather than blindly booking one.....
