Once you cut the squash in half place it flat side down, its much easier to slice as it does not roll around.

Are all your function buttons pre-lit? With the exception of the roast button the other functions on mine are. I'm just wondering if my unit is defective. I purchased it brand new. Thank you

I got mine in Sainsbury’s, they are mini loaf tins. I’m sure Amazon will have them too.

Thank you for showing such a variety of dishes. I didn't realise air fryers were so versatile! I was wondering if the containers were big enough to hold alot of meat but it looks like you could pile up the chops.

You actually don't want to pile food up, if you're going for crispness. It can also increase your cooking time, same as an oven you want air circulation around the food. Although depending on the item, you can 'stack' it like logs so air can still move around.

Hi Ron. Yes the eggs are a great one, I know sometimes its quicker to just do on the hob but definitely a good one to know that they can be done in air fryer too 😃👍

Great video, simple, clear and informative however 15mins for hard boiled eggs in and air fryer isn’t quicker then a hob but it’s more efficient and reduces home condensation build up so still a win.

Hi. I do apologise. This was one of my first AirFryer videos and I didn’t state the settings etc. However I now always put all the info in the description box below. The cakes, cookies and eggs are using the bake function and the others are Airfry. Thank you.

Hey, yes I am definitely satisfied with the model I have. I have the AF400. Honestly I use it to cook so many things, I literally use it everyday.

OK thank you you’re oil bottle looks different than the aerosol olive oil did you buy in the grocery stores were the ones in the grocery stores work don’t want to run my air fryer thank you so much

Yes I get mine in the grocery store. I think any oil should work just fine. We don’t get aerosol cans here in the UK I don’t think. If you cannot find a spray bottle then you can try brushing oil on instead.

Thank you for the great video. Question, I just received mine. I plugged in the unit. It appears that while the unit is off, all the function lights are pre-lit, with the exception of the roast function light. When I turn the unit on all the function lights including the roast light turn on bright when the knob is pointed at a specific function. It's just when the unit is in the off position that the roast light is not pre-lit like the others. Is this a common issue? When I first plugged it in all the pre-lit lights were blinking like Christmas lights. Can someone please help me? Thank you

Hi, I am not too sure why. Sounds like its just your air fryer as mine doesn’t do that. Maybe contact the manufacturer or try to get a replacement?

Hi Jon. For soft boiled I would try the bake option at 120 degrees for around 8-9 mins

I'm moving out on my own for the first time and I've never had an airfryer in my family. I'm planning on getting one for my own when I move out and I enjoy cooking food and I'm heavily into fitness and calories tracking in terms of meeting my needs. Would this suit me well or be overkill? :)

Thanks for your message. All I can say is the air fryer cooks all sorts of foods and I find its healthier than other methods of cooking because I end up using very little to no oil. I highly recommend it and would probably say you would get use out of it if you enjoy cooking 👍

Chicken, Lamb chops & Butternut squash on air fry. The rest were cooked on the bake option 👍

Hi, the first 3 are cooked using the air fryer option. The banana bread, cookies & eggs were cooked using the bake function as I can choose lower temperatures using that option. Hope this helps. 😃👍

Hi Martin, back when I made this video I wasn’t stating the settings but I have been doing so in my recent ones.

ooo being diabetic the sweet pot or butternut squash fries be nice. sainsburys do crinkle cut fresh butternit squash fries ready done.

Were some recipes using the bake function? I couldn’t quite make it out on the video if air fryer or bake was used…. Especially the eggs. TIA ☺️

Hey 😀. Yes I do use the bake function when I want to lower the temperature for foods (like the eggs) as the air fry function doesn’t let me go under a certain temperature for some reason.

What loaf tin are you using? Could I have a link to it please? I have the ninja dual air fryer AF300UK and all my cakes and stuff come out semi raw inside and cooked on the outside :(

Hiya. I got these in one of the supermarkets, I think it was either Tesco or Sainsburys. They are mini loaf tins. 😃👍

If you put the butternut squash in the microwave for 2 mins, it’s much easier to work with and remove skin (but watch as it can be a bit hot to the touch)

I’ve newly bought one but it has a problem that steam comes out from between the drawers and the drawers are not exactly symmetrical. Do I need to return it? Is yours the same? Cheers

Hi Reyhan. I do find a little steam coming from the drawers when it’s on but not very much at all. If you feel it is a lot then I would recommend returning and getting a replacement. X

i purchased the ninja 400 dual basket i 1st tried doing some chips what a disaster i made of them hahaaa i put them in for 30 mins way to long 2nd attempt which ive just had for our teas wow brilliant they turned out in stead of using the spray i used 3 table spoons of Sainsbury's oil in a bowl paprika table salt mixed up and cooked 18mins they turned out more is hahaa only one fault didnt make more the chicken i had in at 200 think was a bit high as burnt a bit so next time 180 ill put it in for next im going make a cake that sohbia made and looked lovely ive just got 2 tins from Sainsbury's lets see how that turns out

Hi Duncan. I have made chips so many times in the air fryer and I have found the best way is to parboil them for 10 mins then coat in some oil and seasoning in a bowl, air fry at 200 for 20 mins making sure to shake half way through. They come out brilliant everytime. Yeah just play around with it at different settings until you perfect it. It does take some time believe me I had many fails at the start 😂😂 even now when I try something new it takes a few attempts before I am happy with it. Good luck 👍

You can use the guide that comes with the air fryer, however I just think its trial and error. The more I used it the more I figured it out x

Thank you. Well I can tell you exactly what I used. I used a store bought chicken marinade, and then I added some salt, pepper, squeeze of lemon juice, fresh coriander and some food colouring.
