Air Fryer Golden Brown Chicken Gizzards And Livers

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Golden brown chicken gizzards and livers from an Air Fryer. We try out our new addition to our cooking arsenal. This air fryer worked great. These chicken gizzards and livers turned out great. I do believe I could have adjusted the temp down a bit, and check small nonbone parts about every 5
to 7 minutes, but we will learn by trial and error.
Griddle Up!
And Remember to keep the Grill hot and the smoke rollin!

    Yes indeed Charley, that’s my kind of food! I love doing some fried liver and gizzards and hearts, super simple and so good. I gotta admit I’ve not air fried em but those look perfect. And now I’m hungry!

    Thanks, Charley! These are the 1st ones I've air fried and they turn out really good. A little bit different texture in an air fryer compared to skillet or deep frying but they turned out really good! Hope you have a great day my friend!

    10 minutes and shake then 5 more minutes. Before cooking spray the chicken gizzards with avocado oil then dip into a mixture of flour and baking powder and some Lowry seasoned salt. Then place in the air fryer cook 10 minutes at 400° then shake cook for another 5 minutes and 400° and remove they are excellent shared with corn on the cob tender and amazing thank you very much!

    Those look amazing Charley! My mom always fried the gizzards, livers and hearts and of course I was the weird kid that ate them 😂 so of course I love this recipe of yours! The air fryer did a great job too! Nice and golden brown, and definitely pass the country gravey! Have a Great Day!

    I love gizzards and they don't cost but about a buck or two for a big package and they taste great! A very cheap meal...lol. I usually fry them in a skillet, but I had to try the Air Fryer and they turned out great. I need to get used to the time and temps on the Air Fryer but all in all, it works great. Yep, pepper gravy is a must! I might need to wire the Air Fryer to my Blackstone Griddle😂😂 LOL...Thanks for watching Kevin! You have a great day as well!

    Did this with chicken liver and hearts just now. I prefer the hearts over the liver. The liver became boring for me after a few pieces. But the hearts are crazy good! My guess is that because the hearts are little pieces so they have a bigger coating to meat ratio. I'll try this again tomorrow but I'll try slicing the livers into smaller bits.😅 Thank you for this! It's kinda rare to see chicken liver recipes on KZread. Glad I found yours. And your voice is very calming.

    Thanks so much! As a kid I never like liver of any type...now, I love chicken livers..lol funny how our taste buds change throughout our lives. These are great as a snack, appetizer, or meal...Everyone cooks gizzards differently. We usually fry them in the old cast iron skillet, but we had to give the Air Fryer a try and they turned out great. Have a great day!

    I made these today using your recipe and as I thought, they cooked uo but were very floury, never fried up crispy even after shaking off excess flour before air frying. It definitely needs egg wash or butter to make it all work so wondering if we forgot to provide all ingredients?

  • @PitSmoke

    @PitSmoke

    Жыл бұрын

    I didn't use eggs, just flour with seasoning. You might want to spray them with cooking spray or cooking oil, flour them let set a few minutes to let the flour soak in. Then mist them again with oil or cooking spray. This will help them brown up.

    I did the livers the same way I did the gizzards. Sorry about that, I should have explained that in the video. You can change up the seasonings to suit your test. And I use a meat thermometer to check them for doneness. I hope this helped and, thank you for watching. I hope you and your family have a Merry Christmas!👍🎄🎅
