Bonus tip: When fighting general leang make sure to put some defenses for your supply center because the migs will attack your base. Do not build strategy center early game because she will start to build alot of units/warriors attacking your base if you didn't build a strategy center early game the enemy units will still attack your base but in small forces for 10-20 minutes.

34:12 small numbers of specialised units (Burton, maybe others)can come through the land below the bridge. A scout drone and a Comanche near the bridge north of the current east Comanche location should stop it.

The easiest way to win is build like 20 combat chinooks load with tank hunters + pathfinder and just bumrush at the edge and start destroying plants.

Air Force I say would be the hardest one to use against Leang, mostly cause defenses are quite inadequate vs the hordes she sends, the other US generals basic defenses hard Carries, Chinese Generals just need either overlords or neutron shell nuke cannons to hold everyone off, And for GLA….Angry mobs with AK-47s…it’s disturbing how different the difficulty is

Every army can easily survive by putting rocket infantry in the buildings to guard the bridges above the base

@@julianfan5794 What are you talking about? There's a whole town above the base to garrison. The strategy is much easier with USA armies because missile defenders are better than rpg or tank hunters, plus you can use search and destroy..

@@julianfan5794 most of her units that go that way will turn to the town if you occupy it.. so guard both of the bridges and you'll be good to do whatever you need to.

a full run with Leang could be neat to watch, though I remember she has some trouble with some missions when she's just starting out-she has lots of high power options, but not as many low power/cheaper ones, so if she's low on supplies and not well established she has a much harder time of things, especially since so many upgrades are locked behind building the superweapons

Hey man, you should consider trying the Shockwave mod as well if you haven't already. It adds a couple new generals and somewhat revamps the General-challenges. Would be fun to watch! :)

I think AI targets the most expensive areas pretty effectively when sending SW or some kind of bombings, in most missions. If you have a big blob of units, you can be almost certain the nuke is gonna drop there. Lazer gen. challenge is different though, he will always target your SW with his PC, if you have one. SW general will always target northern-most Supply, Power and War Factory with her PCs, in that order iirc

theres a tiny tweak mod, which allows this boss general to be playable in either (its two mods you can pick´) skirmish or the general challenges

Could've used the MOAB and A10's to take out at least the nuclear bomb after using the Auoras on the Scud storm. Also the leaflet drop over their air defence when you do it.

You defenitly underestimate the power of missle defenders in a byilding. It's much more vital than you imagine. The left flank is her weakness (until the last bridge).

Ok, game is running. Couple weird questions: In the challenges, can I stop that announcer guy saying the names? Like "GENERAL GRAINGER VS GENERAL TAO"...?? Is there any way to play as General Leang? Who is the strongest General to play against if I play as GLA Stealth?

You might have had an easier time with stealth units if you deployed Scott drones at choke points, you seemed to Leave the ability on Cool-down most of the time

i noticed he sits on CDs very long. is there a reason not to moab/carpet every chance you get? these things would be ready multiple times until the next superweapon timer comes close to danger

the problem is just the start, need to capture that village above and the area with supplies to the right. After that it's SW spam time xD boring run yeah, but effective 🤷‍♂️

How do I get this game running on my windows7 laptop? I have the generals/zero hour disks, with CD Keys. I install it fine, but it wont run. I tried some of the solutions suggested online: making the options file, run as administrator, xp service pack compatibility. NOTHING WORKED. How do I get this wonderful classic working...?

I dont really run any antivirus. Just got the firewall and windows defender. The laptop has refused to run ANY C&Cs I've tried, but it will play other games, older and newer. I'm REALLY confused, and quite annoyed, as I really want to play Generals above all else.

lol it's easy. You just move north and block the main bridge giving you the entire bottom of the map. then Build some avengers snipers and a lot of tomahawks

I think i REALLY preferred stealth general there xD and if you have such problems with those stealth units why don't i see any patriots which get detection ?!

Planned ones yes, but not fully implemented There are some leftovers, such as their portraits and voicelines, but definitely no map + ai data, known units (outside of simple units), unique gimmick, etc USA: Ironside GLA: Deathstrike
