Thank you for making this video, I'm a loner myself and I know I will miss my family and. I know it's best to get a high score , but me I'm not good at Arthimic reasoning, and I notieced I hate math, I like reading, and world knowledge, the other subjects might be a struggle for me. So I might make a 30 or 40 or 50 between 60, depending on the asvab test questions. I will do my best I really do want to make it to the air force, while I'm still in my 20s.

5:09 that was a great hurry up, little less agressive but reminded me of my flights head mti a lot lol side note, I had tech school in keesler so we still had great food, breakfasts were better than pretty much anyhwere I could think of, we had danishes and pastrys that we could get for breakfast and cheesecake and ice cream or normal cake that you could get for desert for lunch or dinner. I got stuck going july-august aka the hottest months in san antonio

@@allofkayla yep, I didn't mind tech school at all, my head MTI was finance and said that with all of the bases that she's been to keesler has the best dfac. Haven't been to an army dfac yet but I'm sure it isn't anywhere near the air force ones

Hey this was helpful!! How did you choose between reserve and active? I’m debating the 2 rn

What do you bring in your bag ?? Soap & a tooth brush ?? Can I bring my Steelers hoodie ??? My boxers ?? A book ?? What do I pack ??

Do you just pick your bed or do they call your name and then you pick ? How did you wear your hair during BMT? How big was your group? Is the room pitch dark/black at night? What job would you recommend to volunteer for at BMT? Lastly, did they allow you to choose which PT pants you wanted to wear in-terms of short and long?

Hi! It depends on your age and how your body fight the immunizations they give you! I got about 9 shots in basic some got less, & some got more. It hurts when they are doing it because it’s so thick and after it hurt for about a few minutes

You will be getting paid the whole 7.5 weeks you’re there! And if you’re going to be active duty you probably will save more by moving out before your ship date because you want get to stay at home anymore.

So you can wear your box braids? Or it’s has to be all natural hair?

tech school is to learn the job you’re going to be doing basically (correct me if i am wrong) Since you’re pretty young I would recommend u try to get into the Air Force Academy or go to college first to make it easier to go the pilot route. I know the army offers the ROTC program and scholarships to commission it’s cadets in as officers so maybe you can check out if the AF has something like that as well.

Is there a lot of fast ship options when talking to a recruiter? I want to do security forces, so I assume there’s fast ship possibilities?

@@aloni1440 It ended up being okay, just tell them that you’re nervous and might pass out and they will distract you and it honestly doesn’t hurt - shots hurt worse, and it is over before you know it, like 10 seconds! You will be okay!!
